mcberko (18589) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 25, 2013
375mL bottle, pours a murky dark amber brown with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out red wine barrels, noticeable brett, some dark fruits and a little candied sugar. Flavour brings out brett and red wine barrels upfront, caramel malts, and dark fruits. The brett gives it quite a wild character that surprisingly works well with the vinous and typically quad notes. Great stuff.

12.7fl oz bottle poured into a Westmalle Trappist glass. Dark ruby/brown with fizzy tan head. Aroma is barnyard and slight candy sugar but later became red wine. Flavor is red wine, candy, copper. Rather sour due to the Brett. Medium carbonation, full body. Sour finish with a slight alcohol burn. Interesting beer, though not something I’d pick up again.

A very disappointing beer. A fruity cherry aroma and flavor. Tangy notes and a tart aftertaste. Redish brown color with a white head.

uckelman (813) - Durham, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2013
Pours reddish brown, cloudy. Little head, small bubbles. Prominent sour aroma, reminds me of cherries. Medium body, not as heavy as I expected. Long aftertaste, hints of caramel and baked apples.

sarauckelman (550) - Durham, Durham, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2013
Sharp, fruity aroma, as of cranberries, and bit of old cheese. Color is chuck, dark chocolate; opaque. Warm in the mouth; disappears quickly. Sour and not too thick.

anders37 (26878) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 4, 2012
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a small off-whit ehead. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty bretty woody aroma. Fruity sour tart woody caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty woody bretty tart finish.

stefannilssons (1580) - SWEDEN - OCT 24, 2012
Det här var en intressant öl med mycket smak av syra, fruktighet och smaken i sig är väldigt dov. Kroppen på ölen var bra och balansen likaså.

dfearnley (2285) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 30, 2012
330mL bottle to tasting glass Aroma of molasses, cherries, raisins, and hay. The colour is reddish brown and there's a very thin off white almost tan head. The taste is tart with sweetness and a bit of coffee bitterness. It has a medium body with a creamy and oily texture.

brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 9, 2012
Pours a dark amber color with an off-white head. Plenty of dark fruit notes on the nose, mostly cherry, raisin, and grape. A little bit of tartness balances out the sweetness somewhat. Dark candi sugar and toasted malts are also prominent. The palate is fairly sweet and malty with a good amount of dark fruit flavors to it. Just a hint of Brettanomyces funk, and maybe a light tartness. Just kind of okay.

gunnar (9466) - Sandnes, NORWAY - AUG 7, 2012
Bottle from Ølkonsortiet, Ålborg. Pours murky ruby with a big creamy off-white head. Aroma is complex, with some brett and oak in the front seat, red ripe fruits and candij sugar.Taste is smooth, light warming mouthfeel, without beeing annoyingly alcohol based, more as a result of the brett and redwine marriage. Slightly spiced end.
