10-SEP-2011, bottle @home, from "Superbest".
Dark brown with a slight red hue. High lasting beige head.
Nose is really bretty with barnyard notes. Taste is malty, caramel, red wine, gun powder and malty fruits. Tart and dry at first, but then sweet and malty. No real bitterness.
Fantastic brew. suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - AUG 26, 2011
Pours a dark, dark brown. Almost black. I can’t see anything though this thing. Giant, fluffy, off-white, almost tan head. Slowly dies down with a huge wake of foam and lacing sticking to the side of the glass. Huge sour aroma mixed in with some sour cherry aroma and malt. Tart front, sweet middle and dry spicy back. This beer is simply spectacular. I wish I could buy barrels of it. Christian (13753) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2011
Ruby chestnut colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of fruit, various dried dark fruits, molasses, red wine and brett funk. Dry with a tannic sharpness, flavour of red wine, oak, dried fruits and dark sugars gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - AUG 18, 2011
A very complex beer - pours deep amber beer, light beige sticky head. Nose has hints of peach, raisins, turf - reveals a nice acidity that comes back immediately in the mouth - yet there is a nice balance with the sweetness and the roundness of the beer. Bitterness only kicks in the aftertaste. Makes me think of the Rodenbach Grand Cru with more depth and body. Nice! olio (10408) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 17, 2011

Dark red colour with very small head. Aroma is sour with berries, some yeast and spices also. Flavour is sour berries, spices, earth and malts. Sour palate and somewhat exciting, but the alcohol comes through a bit too much.
Had this one at the ACBF 2011. Brown, black colored brew. Brett all over the place. Sweet malts and fruits, berries, raisin. Nice. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 24, 2011

Beer Co, London. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweet riped fruits along with sour wood, some tart fruityness as well as some slight notes of alcohol. Flavour is sour, mild berries, some sweet malts, mild vanilla as well as some wooden notes. Ends sour, a bit alcoholic as well as vanillaish and wooden.
On tap at Craft Beer Co. Black. Sour glue aroma. Some cherry fruit sour dark cherry. Touch of buscuit but the whole experience is quite remarkable. Green apples on the aroma. Reminds me of the sourest green apple i have had. Its gorgeous. A whole body experience. Best beer so far. sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - JUL 17, 2011
Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, brett, redwine and dark fruit. Flavour is caramel, light brett, fark fruit and light redwine. Needs more complexity to be perfect. Benzai (16151) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 16, 2011
Dark brown color, beige head. Don’t like the smell at all, too sour. Very nice body. Taste has a nice balanced sourness, but just not my taste.
