Dark red colour with very small head. Aroma is sour with berries, some yeast and spices also. Flavour is sour berries, spices, earth and malts. Sour palate and somewhat exciting, but the alcohol comes through a bit too much.

Bottle from Ølkonsortiet, Ålborg. Pours murky ruby with a big creamy off-white head. Aroma is complex, with some brett and oak in the front seat, red ripe fruits and candij sugar.Taste is smooth, light warming mouthfeel, without beeing annoyingly alcohol based, more as a result of the brett and redwine marriage. Slightly spiced end. Plovmand (8630) - Grindsted, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2012
Bottle shared by faroeviking. Pours reddish brown with a medium tan head. The aroma is fart, rotten vegetables (udkogt blomkål) and brett. What? Some sugary and sweet malty notes. Really stinks! The flavour is very vinous with notes of dark fruit and molasses but then kicks the rotten vegetables. For fucks sake. What happend here! Everything was insane and creepy here but he palate was great. Overall this was a disaster.... Geokkjer (7647) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 20, 2011

A Mes rate. Keg at the Cask.A Mikkeller soured beer rarely (never) let’s me down. This is no different. Not the best smelling beer I have had from Mikkeller but as soon as this magic elixir hits my tongue, all that is forgotten. Big fruity barrelly sourness abounds and dizzys the brain for a few seconds after each sip. So bright and exciting for a beer with this reasonably high an abv. Funky yet thoroughly approachable. Superb finish with considerable length. Not something I should probably start the day with but when the boss demands you have a free half... Well, why the funk not? Excellent stuff. jfb (6830) - GERMANY - MAR 9, 2011
(bottle) pours the darkest clear ruby colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of red wine, grapes, wheat, brown sugar and light notes of melted butter and cardboard. flavour is mostly the same, with lots of red wine, floral hops, sweet grape juice and a medium sourness, no alcohol detectable. medium-bodied with lively carbonation. kappldav123 (6135) - GERMANY - APR 3, 2011
From bottle at ACBF 2011. Dark brown in the glass, small head. Starts fruity malty, also quite sourish. Wonderful fruity-berry notes. Well balanced finish with sourish notes of lemon, also warming finish. I liked it! erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - SEP 24, 2011
Murky brown, tiny head. Light sour at first but disappearing. Next wood, caramel, leather and bread. Complex but taste disappoints a little though. Bit of smoke. Can’t be bothered by this. (At Borefts)
