Pours a clear and brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt, brett, sweetness, dried fruit, raisin, redwine and wood. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is dry with sweetness. Overall a good and well balanced beer.

Bottle shared in London for my farewell drinks. Picked this one up at Kris Wines I think. Pours clearish mahogany with a small beige head. Nose is plenty of ripe berries with some tartiness as youd expect, slightly acidic, grapefruit, zesty and milk chocolate. Lots going on but balanced decently. Taste is like a sour Pinot Noir. Think black cherries, tarty blueberry, dusty chocolate, raisins and some bretty tang. A nice red wine finish with some coconut and spice in there. A lot happening but works quite well. Solid drop

Tap at brewdog. Near black with tan head. Aroma has funky sherbet Brett up front, then some chocolate, molasses, brown sugar, vanilla. Taste has Brett, sweet brown sugar, molasses, hint of licorice, hint of chocolate. Sickly sweet with a sour finish. This doesnt work for me, I found it quite unpleasant

Bottle. The bottom of which pours to a disgustingly murky deep brown body. The regular pour looks like a nice quad. Funky brett and red wine infused quad. The taste is red wine and funky quad with lots of caramel and deep yeasts. Creamy velvety body with a very well hidden alcohol.

The aroma holds brown sugar, dark fruits, figs, black cherries, dark caramel, chocolate, dark bread, sour milk, light wood, lint citric, earth, mild funk and a whisper of smoke. The flavour is light sweet, light bitter and light acidic with notes of dark fruits, dark caramel, brown sugar, wood, light funk, earth and a hint of hops. The mouhfeel is soft and tart with light to no carbonation. Tart cherries and citrus on the finish. Medium bodied.

On draught at the Boreft Beer Festival, 2011. Brett aroma with a musty horse blanket, leather, caramel and treacle qualities. Quite tart with mild carbonation and CO2 prickle.

Pours a dark, dark brown. Almost black. I cant see anything though this thing. Giant, fluffy, off-white, almost tan head. Slowly dies down with a huge wake of foam and lacing sticking to the side of the glass. Huge sour aroma mixed in with some sour cherry aroma and malt. Tart front, sweet middle and dry spicy back. This beer is simply spectacular. I wish I could buy barrels of it.
