330mL bottle to tasting glass Aroma of molasses, cherries, raisins, and hay. The colour is reddish brown and there's a very thin off white almost tan head. The taste is tart with sweetness and a bit of coffee bitterness. It has a medium body with a creamy and oily texture.

A very disappointing beer. A fruity cherry aroma and flavor. Tangy notes and a tart aftertaste. Redish brown color with a white head.

gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - AUG 18, 2011
A very complex beer - pours deep amber beer, light beige sticky head. Nose has hints of peach, raisins, turf - reveals a nice acidity that comes back immediately in the mouth - yet there is a nice balance with the sweetness and the roundness of the beer. Bitterness only kicks in the aftertaste. Makes me think of the Rodenbach Grand Cru with more depth and body. Nice!

Det hr var en intressant l med mycket smak av syra, fruktighet och smaken i sig r vldigt dov. Kroppen p len var bra och balansen likas.

Keg at BrewDog Edinburgh. Deep reddish black, thin off-white head. Interesting and strange nose - overripe cherries, balsamic vinegar, hint of manure, tart raspberry, green apples. Nice soft sweetness up front, hint of caramel, raspberry, dry white wine acidity, grassy woody brett, soft tartness. Nice and complex.

Pours chestnut brown, nice light brown head. Aroma is rather sour, lacto, brett, yoghurt, cherries, sharp red wine notes, hints of caramel and dark fruits. Taste is mainly berries, rsaspberries, brett, lacto, dark fruits, caramel, a bit of acetone, a decent bit of yeasty and mallty sweetness, a hint of yoghurt. Nice beer.
