Pours a dark, dark brown. Almost black. I can’t see anything though this thing. Giant, fluffy, off-white, almost tan head. Slowly dies down with a huge wake of foam and lacing sticking to the side of the glass. Huge sour aroma mixed in with some sour cherry aroma and malt. Tart front, sweet middle and dry spicy back. This beer is simply spectacular. I wish I could buy barrels of it. jesperhammer (4903) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2011
10-SEP-2011, bottle @home, from "Superbest".
Dark brown with a slight red hue. High lasting beige head.
Nose is really bretty with barnyard notes. Taste is malty, caramel, red wine, gun powder and malty fruits. Tart and dry at first, but then sweet and malty. No real bitterness.

375ml bottle, from Erzbierschof.
Pours a dark reddish-brown with a beige head.
Smells of Brett, balsamic vinegar, some feet, and a hint of wood beneath.
Tastes intriguing and exquisite; cherries, vanilla, caramel, cream. A heavy sweetness, part caramel and part fruit, with a creamy soft texture, with just a hint of tartness to make it real. This is wonderful! yespr (47545) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2011
