pours a deep deep brown with good tan head that stays around - aroma yeasty sour citrus . taste much better than aroma - a touch of sweet qucikly changes to a citrusy slight sourness with caramel undertones offset very well by teh fizzy carbonation generating a pleasant mouthfeel . long finish slightly acidic but nice . pretty good beer would have again . dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - JUN 16, 2012
Keg at BrewDog Edinburgh. Deep reddish black, thin off-white head. Interesting and strange nose - overripe cherries, balsamic vinegar, hint of manure, tart raspberry, green apples. Nice soft sweetness up front, hint of caramel, raspberry, dry white wine acidity, grassy woody brett, soft tartness. Nice and complex. 69Evil (5) - - NOV 10, 2013 does not count

Bottle. The bottom of which pours to a disgustingly murky deep brown body. The regular pour looks like a nice quad. Funky brett and red wine infused quad. The taste is red wine and funky quad with lots of caramel and deep yeasts. Creamy velvety body with a very well hidden alcohol. SeniorZozo (1841) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 15, 2015

Bottle courtesy of Meilby.Pours dark brown with a nice off-white head.Aroma of cellar, oak, wood, brettanomyces and fruitiness.Flavor is sweet and somewhat malty with some sour berries, oak and red wine.Medium body, average carbonation.Really nice funky quad :-) yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 20, 2011
Bottle, 375ml, courtesy of meilby. It pours an unclear, dark ruby to brown body and a dense, finger-thick off-white to beige head. Oaked, red wine-ish, brett-aroma with dried fruits, dark berry notes, some alcohol and a touch of white sugar. Quite complex. It has a good warmth in the mouth, it’s full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. A touch of metal in the far end. The brett and barrels sure win the flavor combat, there’s not much left of the original beer, except for the alcohol. Even though it’s quite dry, there’s a good dash of residual sweetness to be found. Sort of peppery too in the very end. Well, this one’s a clash of worlds, but it’s also a damn fine one, in a way combining the red sour beers of Flandern with the sweet quadrupels the monks brew. Lovely, but demanding. 110420 Camons (12305) - Hasselager, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2011

Taste is sweet and sour cherries, wood, oak, candy, brown sugar, brett. Thin to medium body, soft lively carbonation. Very complex beer, vinery , oak aged and the original quad mixing up exceltly. 140511 Ungstrup (37296) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2011
Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, brettanomyces, caramel, and a bit of wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, brettanomyces, wood, grapes, and caramel, leading to a tart finish. Thanks pinball for sharing. Pinball (12061) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2011
