12.7fl oz bottle poured into a Westmalle Trappist glass. Dark ruby/brown with fizzy tan head. Aroma is barnyard and slight candy sugar but later became red wine. Flavor is red wine, candy, copper. Rather sour due to the Brett. Medium carbonation, full body. Sour finish with a slight alcohol burn. Bottle @ Borefts 2011. Murky, brown color. Fruity nose with hints of dark fruits, caramel, a bit of drak chocolate. No taste of alcohol. Okay.

Pours a dark amber color with an off-white head. Plenty of dark fruit notes on the nose, mostly cherry, raisin, and grape. A little bit of tartness balances out the sweetness somewhat. Dark candi sugar and toasted malts are also prominent. The palate is fairly sweet and malty with a good amount of dark fruit flavors to it. Säuerlich-malziger Antrunk mit wenig Süße. Die Malzigkeit ist dabei trocken und spielt der Säuerlichkeit zu. Es ist weniger Abwechslung als bei dem Ausgangsbier gegeben, daher wirkt es für Mikkeller Verhältnisse in Teilen eindimensional. Trocken-malzig-säuerliches Finish. /10/11/11//11

BB 30/01/21 (bottled 10 years before), marked at 10.5% ABV. 5 months on red wine barrels.
Clear dark brown color, tan head. Sweet, plums, raissin, figs, dates, sugary, spicy, alcohol scent. Sugary, raissin, alcohol, smoke, licorice taste. Medium thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.
