Söta jästiga toner av övermogen banan, men dessutom choklad, vanilj och kaffetoner. Rejäl kropp med mycket choklad och vaniljkaraktär som leder till en torrare kaffe

Bottle at home, 23rd July 17. Pours a dark brown sugar colour, murky. Aroma is sweet, sugar, dark fruit. Taste is sweet, brown sugar, slight fruit, molasses. Not so smooth, OK.

2 year old aged keg, at Beer Revolution, Calgary AB. Really murky dark brown pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is raisin, plum, subtle leather, vanilla and oak. Taste is really smooth and mellow, but strong - raisin, chocolate, leather... Really nice.

Klasse!

Decent, but the Belgians do it better. Some esters, but a little rough compared with the classics.

33cl bottle thanks to bierkoning. Dark brown color with thin head. Pleasant aroma with floral notes and melassis. Taste is very bright and complex. Clean palate and excellent brew!

Cloudy, dark brown appearance. Frothy head that collapses into a thick, bubbley collar. Aroma consist of tart cherries, milk chocolate, alcohol, and vanilla. Body is thin. Tart tasting. Alcohol is not as strong as i expected. Average carbonation. Finish is thin and long and leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. Leaving a warm sensation in my body. I will drink this slowly because you can tell this beer will sneak up on you later.

Aroma: at the beginning - notes of fresh grapes, some wine. Then some dry friuts, raisins, belgian yeast. Very, very sweet. Taste - very sweet, some alcohol and ugly taste of wet paper in aftertaste (oxidation?) Average head, dull brown color. It wasn’t good. MEH.

33cl bottle at home from De Caigny, Belgium. Nose is dried fruits, brown sugar. Body is clear dark brown, head is medium, brownish, frothy, average lasting, good lacing. Aroma is honey, dates, brown sugar, molasses, roasted malt. Medium to heavy sweet, light bitter, light fruity sour. Finish is medium lasting fruity medium bittersweet, light alcohol sour, medium alcohol warmth. Full body, slightly sticky texture, lively carbonation. Bit heavy dessertish beer, quite well balanced, not bad.

Aroma: fruits, caramel. Dark brown liquid with beige head, stays. Taste is coca-cola with resins and banana, also some candy sugar. Alcohol is well hidden, malts aswell. Pretty surprising beer I would say. Banana dominates over malts :) Very interesting.
