Bottle. Dark brown with white head. Yeasty. Aroma of toasted, caramel, dark fruit, overriped fruit and fruity-esters from the yeast. Light spicy herbal hop-bite. Mainly sweet. Good alcoholic warmth. Heavy and sticky. I get the trappist-association. A good one...

330ml bottle from Brewdog shop. Big off white head, good lacing. Clear dark brown body. Malty fruit nose, raisins, caramel, a little yeast. Strong malt flavour, dark fruit, brown sugar, treacle, alcohol on the finish. Medium carbonation, good mouthfeel, slightly sticky. Exactly what Id expect from a Quad.

Creamy beige head stayed well on a very dark brown active body. Chocolate, rum, plum, brown sugar aroma - smells fantastic! Big mouth feel, creamy on the palate & a slight tang on the back. Dark fruits, brown sugar, plum, raisin, slightly boozy & very slightly bitter back.

Refrigerated 11.2 oz. brown bottle poured into a snifter. Translucent medium brown with small beige head. Aroma is dark fruit, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is caramel malt, some dark fruit, and some dark candy sugar. I believe the low rating is due to having this after St. Bernadus 12.

Caramel, milk chocolate, more like sweet Cadbury stuff, lactose and caramel, intense molasses, some biscuit. Hazy, dark brown, medium, creamy, beige head. Heavy sweet. More caramel milkshake, molasses, dried, red fruits, creamy texture, soft carbonation, full bodied. Beautiful Quadrupel, intense caramel and fruity throughout. Leg at Bottle Shop, Bermondsey.

Bottle from BrewDog online, drunk at home. Dark brown, translucent with a tiny bit of beige/tan head. Burnt plums, crme brle, Bananas Foster, hyssop aroma. Taste is Oh my dear Mother of God gorgeous: sweet, sugary and yeasty with a notable amount of bitterness holding it in balance. Short finish. Very carbonated but the body is disappointingly thin, but I could drink this all night. An incredible concoction.
