Bottle. Hazy deep brown with ruby highlights. Beige head. It is tall dense and stable. The aroma is dark malts, dried fruit, spicy yeast. Medium to full body. Light to medium sweet complex taste. It is hard to analyse the components because of good balance. Malts, yeast and hops play together. Not without booziness. Take care.

330ml bottle. In the cellar for a little over three years. Pours a clear burgundy with a creamy beige cap. Smells like candy. Dates, light spice, faint booziness, marzipan, pecan pie filling, and a light maple note. Taste wise, lighter bodied than expected and sweet with dried fruits, light molasses, dark rye bread, faint amaretto, and light earthiness that heads into some alcohol, more dried fruit, and stronger malt notes with a earthy, mineral heavy finish that also features some plum.

Piwo już troszkę sobie poleżało. W aromacie rodzynki, figi, suszone ciemne owoce, karmel. W smaku wszystko co w aromacie z wyjątkiem karmelu. Alkohol fajnie ukryty. Bardzo przyjemny quad

750ml bottle. Shouldn't have waited this long to try this one. Pours a deep reddish brown color with lots of tan-colored head that stuck around for a long time. Aroma of sweet malts, brown sugar, lots of classic Trappist yeast esters, cocoa, hint of coffee, a bit of earthy tobacco leaf. Rich malty flavors with lots of brown sugar sweetness, treacle toffee, hints of cocoa and coffee, molasses, lots of fruity/floral esters but not overpowering. Rich, silky mouthfeel with good carbonation. Classic Trappist yeast esters, hefty malts, candy and brown sugars...you know what you're getting. So damn good, definitely holds its own among the classics.

Very dark brown, some red. Looks almost like a stout. Aroma has some malt, but is quite week. Sweet taste, heavy with plums and raisons balancing the typical yeastines. At the end quite bitter, more than most quadrupels.
