4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at Københavnske Øldage 2006.
Dark golden with a white quite firm head.
Aromas of toast and a lot of citrusy hops.
Mediumbodied, dry and with firm bitterness. Perhaps not a pilsener but rather a pre-prohibition lager, but definately an extremely good beer.
Draught. Hazy light golden with a nice, longlasting head. Aroma of flowers, citrus and spices. Flavour of citrus, malt and a good, dry bitter finish. My favourite at the competion at Kbh. Øldage, but I really didn’t stray far away from the Mikkeller stand and tried a lot of the others, so I’m probably not the most competent judge. duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 22, 2006

Øldage. Hoppy nose, especially for a pils. I like it though. Flowery, grassy, fruity (apples?peach?) Mouthfeel is full and crisp, with some nice flowery hop bitterness in the finish. Nice.
[Another century is about to be turned - this time 6500, and again I celebrate it with a Mikkeller beer, and at the same time it is my Danish beer number 800] A quite carbonated beer, it gave a soundable fizz when opened and pours with a huge white head, underneath which is a slightly hazy pale orange beer. The aroma has powerful notes of hops with lots of different notes; dusty, flowery, citrusy, and more. The flavor is sweet with a crisp maltyness, which is soon forced in the back ground from the amassing hops, again with a huge diversity of flavors; fruits, flowers, grapefruit, and more, leading to a quite bitter yet very refreshing end. Inspite of the 6% ABV, I find the mouthfeel a bit thin. JensenTaster (1719) - DENMARK - JUL 7, 2006
(On bottle) Clear yellow, with a steady, white head. very aromatic; hay, apple and hops. Impressive that there actually is a hop-profile on a pilsner made on danish water. A little hefty mf. Massproduce, please. Ambassador (14) - Nørrebro Bryghus, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2006
So this is never a pilsener. But who gives a damn about whether it’s true to style. This is a lovely beer. No ’body’ whatsoever, but plenty of pine like hop aroma and a nice refreshing bitterness. Something along the lines of 55 BU. Nice.

Draught, Københavnske Øldage 2006. Golden orange with a slight haze. Orangey apricot aromas. Quite bitter, but nicely balanced by the fruits. Very drinkable. Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2006
Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2006. Golden clear colour with a nice huge white head. Lovely aroma of hops, not clean, but very nice endeed. Very hoppy flavour and with hints of malt and some bitter finish. A great and tasty pilsener. MiP (15920) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2006
Bottle. Slightly cloudy yellow colour. Stable white head. Hoppy aroma, perhaps a little too much. Flavour has citruc, but in the nice way. mds (2250) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 31, 2006
Golden-orange with a creamy white head. The aroma is of creamy malt, cookies, hay, and grass. The flavour has creamy malt, cookies, and an agressive hop palate. Medium carbonation. A decent pils.
