(33cl canned from Geers which I swear I'd rated before...) 75cl bb:missed the cap, shared by impuritylaw at 1. Adventstasting 2017, merci. - - Intensely grapey white gooseberry and lemon jelly on the nose, with some yeasty esters cultivating the sweetness into freshly harvested fruit jam, meaty white wine indeed yes could be Chardonnay, a minor whiff of brett. - Drinks like a tastily brett-polished carosserie of a sportscar DIPA, still with a fair bit of grape sugar body by way of sweet, but non-sugary malts. Not an instant fave, but successfully does what it purports. Works as a quite elegant whole, another upper tier Proef-clean beer creation Mikkeller has made his beer designer name on. Can. Lots of bretts, gooseberry, light citrus in aroma, in taste bretts, barnyard with fruity citrus and gooseberry. Lightly bodied, medium bitterness, lightly tart and dry finish. It tastes just like Orval on Nelson Sauvin and I like Orval, awesome one.

750ml @ Oates’. Pours a hazy copper colour with an active off-white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is citrus, fruity, and floral. Flavour is an interesting mix of some fruit, stone fruits, and some very potent floral hops. Not sure I’m fully digging this. Oakes (19013) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 16, 2017
Hazy, orangey-tan. Thin head. The aroma is nice and bretty, with a touch of floral hop, nice nelson. I like the red currant, woody fruit note. There’s some really good complexity to this. I’m a fan.
