Pours cloudy orange with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, pine and hint of brett. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter with a long fruity, bitter, kind of fry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle. An almost clear one, golden-orange in color and with a finger-thick, dense, off-white head. Lightly brett-like aroma with a solid dose of pine cones, and also some alcohol. Rather bitter flavor, with maltyness and some biscuity hints underneath. Pine cones, and some alcohol warmth, full body and pleasant carbonation. Lightly brett-like. Lasting bitter finish. Even after six years it’s a nice one, impressive. 120623 chrisv10 (18696) - DENMARK - JUN 23, 2012
