GoufCustom (2119) - HONG KONG - OCT 11, 2017

330 ml bottle bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty.

Looks: Translucent straw golden honey with a layer of dirt-like yeast sediments; Half finger head with sopay white foam which fades in 40 seconds; Very good sticky lacing with zero carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant Ale malt, with strong passion fruits, strong tangerines, candied fruits, catpiss, citrus peels, honey, floral, sugar, light spices, pine, biscuits and grass.

Taste: Close to light sweet Ale malt, with strong tartness, strong grapefruits, peaches, yellow fruits, floral, light sugar, woody spices, pine, resin, earth, dry biscuits, strong lime, very strong bitter hops and sharp grass.

Body: Close to medium body. Slick palate.

Mouth Feel: Good Ale maltyness in a slick background. Very strong grapefruity hops and bitterness dominate, with yellow fruits to compliment. Flowery with fair sweetness. Spicy, oozy, earthy with strong lime to round. Exciting!

Hoppiness: Strong passion fruits, strong tangerines, candied fruits, citrus peels, honey, floral, pine and grass in nose. Strong grapefruits, peaches, yellow fruits, floral, woody spices, pine, resin, earth, strong lime and sharp grass in taste; Bitterness is very strong for a lasting, very high astringent bitter-sweet spicy malty finish.

After Taste: Quite dry. Oozy limey and strong bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one's hoppiness is unfront and strong in both aroma and taste - tropical, limey, reisiny, grassy and bitter - with excitements got the taste buds never stops in between. A top dog APA, highly recommended!

Cloudy golden orange. Biscuity and fruity aroma and taste, light bitterness. I dig the tropical passion fruit/papya in the hops but don't care for the biscuit malt.
