On tap at Redlight Redlight. Nose is mainly toffee and caramel with some spice. Pour is amber with an off white head. Malty backbone, some spice and a light hop note. Witbier?

Draft at Dutchs. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a smaller off white head. The aroma is citrus, orange zest, grass, lighter/faded hops. The flavor has a solid malt base, citrus, orange zest, dry grass and some spices. This did not come off as a wit beer.

Draft to taster at Dutchs. Looks good; a semi-transparent amber with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes of bitter hops and malt with notes of Belgian yeast and a semi-sweet backbone. Average on the palate. Not a typical Christmas beer, but enjoyable nonetheless

Sample @ Drink Shop Beer Tasting Session nov.2012. Hazy orange color. Off-white head, stays. Fruity, orange, sweetish and hops in aroma. Orange, juicy, tropical fruits, malty flavor. I like that orange juicy texture.

Bottle. Amber, hazy, average and mostly lasting head. Moderate, malty - some wheat and sweetish aroma, some caramel and tropical fruitiness, lots of grapefruit - piney hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty - some wheat and sweetish flavor, some caramel and tropical fruitiness, grapefruit - piney hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty - light wheat and sweetish, some caramel and some tropical fruitiness, lots of grapefruit - piney hoppyness. Nice and really well hopped wit(IPA). Caramel/sweetness/wheat is overwhelmed by hoppyness. This one is really not your typical wit.

Pours a dark auburn with a large, beige head. Aroma is hoppy, resinous, some exotic fruits as well as pine. Taste is much of the same: Pine and resin, light caramel, perhaps the malt presence is as caramelly as usual with beers of this kind so maybe thats the wit in it? Perhaps a light presence of wit spiciness on the finish and aftertaste. Palate is stingy and full.

On tap. Hazy reddish orange color, with a brown hue. Good thin khaki head. Nice lace. Nose smell is less-than-fresh hops. Surprisingly malty... Not sweet, though, nice and bitter, with little zest (but less than I expected for a witbier). Some orange-peel. Spicy hops. Bigger body, smooth lighter carbonation. Good spicy orange aftertaste. Interesting, tasty brew... But hardly a witbier, I think
