Bottle. Hazy reddish color with a foamy head. Arona of floral hops with some earthy notes. Flavors are hops, fruits and orange. Quite a strange mixture of different beer styles, although its done ok. Medium bitter finish.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2013 Pours a amber color with a big white head and nice lace. Aroma is citrus grapefruit with some spice. Taste is very citrus and malty taste that has some sweetness. Great balances of hops and malts. This is one of the best Christmas beers you can get!

A very beautiful, red beer with a big and beige head. Complex aroma of caramell, fruits, tropical fruits, oranges and spices. Taste is strongly bitter and caramelly malty, fruits, citrusfruits, grapefruits, some pine needles and spices. Aftertaste is long and balanced as taste, also some sweetness. Full bodied, nice carbonation and drinkability, quite smooth. Lots of bitterness with balancing caramel malts, which are almost too much, but still balanced. Good beer, the Christmas is there at least in the strong sweetness.

Bottled Dark amber, slightly hazy beer with a huge, pillowy head. Intensly hoppy nose: orange peel, pine, floral, strawberry, lots of coriander. Gets more herbal when warming up. Somewhat caramelly start, turns very resiny bitter in the finish with a hint of cookie-toastedness. Lingering bitter finish with a hint of yeast. Medium body, frothy, slightly soapy//coriandery finish. A bit thin maybe. Hides alcohol well.

Ok..time for beer 500 to tell me its strory. Christmas tale this time. Pours nice hazy amber with big light brown head and lots of lacing. Aroma hits me before I even bring my nose closer to glass. Ipa-like fresh, good aroma has pine, citrus, caramel malt with nuts, hoppy with great malting also. Very nice. Like to take a sniff now and then while tasting this. As it warms the malting rises its head. Lively and nuanced. Taste is medium bitter, sweet, medium to full bodied, oily feel, long bitter finish, soft carbonation. Glad I chose to leave this one for my milestone beer. Loved it. Obviously crafted by people who love beer, really enjoyable. Gonna get this for Christmas, recommended.

750 ml bottle. Hazy orange-amber colour, thick off-white head. Spicy aroma of caramel malt, citrus fruits and aromatic hops. The flavour is malty, with oranges and notes of tropical fruits, and a bitter, slightly piney hoppy finish. Warm, spicy aftertaste. Tasty, but not much to do with a witbier...

Bottle. Amber orange, hazy with frothy head. Good caramel, butterscotch maltiness. Some spices; a bit musty, cinnamon, some ginger. But very caramel oriented, like a strong ipa. Body is medium, fullish actually. Soft bitterness. Caramel, some bready malts, a touch of pine. Some vanilla or peachy tones. A lot more like a good soft full dipa than wit. But excellent body, just perfectly soft bitter and tasty.

Bottle 75 cl, BBE 22.08.2018. Amber color with a creamy tan head. Excellent lacing. Sweet and cinnamon spices, earth, spruce and some citrus fruits in aroma. Sweet and bitter taste, blood orange to mild grapefruit bitterness in taste. Spices that bites on the tongue in aftertaste with a bitter grassy hoppy finish. Oily texture. Still it feels very smooth, no sign of the abv and very easy to drink. Gets a whole lot sweeter towards the end. Could call this an belgian red IPA rather than a witbier.
