Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 11, 2011
12/12/11/12//12

Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen
Hazy amber color with generous head. The aroma is rather fruity, and hoppy. Semi-sweet flavor, there are some berries and some spices (coriander, cardamom and orange peel come to mind); relatively strong bitterness. As elegant as American beers can be.

Bottle. Huge head with excellent duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, citrus, orange and malt. Very good balance and very refreshing, yet still bitter.

Bottle at Chriso Gaylord tasting 09. Massive thanks to Fonefan for this one. My beer of the tasting, even though there was a lot to choose from. Lots of hops on aroma. Lovely. Really really good. Like the Festival 2009 beer. Lovely. Hops are stunning. Would happily dirnk the whole 1.5 litre bottle to myself. Have I mentioned the hops????

TBone (18225) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 5, 2009
Bottled (1,5 ltr, Pikkulintu, tappet 15/9/2009)
Hazy orange color, good cloudy off-white head, lace. Sweet grassy hoppy (=cannabis) aroma. Medium-bodied, medium carbonation. Very grassy, very fresh hoppyness in the flavor. Long bitter aftertaste. This beer is "green", not red and white :)
