@ Kerstbierfestival te Essen (B). A hazy orange colored beer, with a thick foamy off white head. The aroma of hop bitter, with fruits like citrus. The taste is dry, with bitter of hops. There are fruits and it’s grassy with some spices. The aftertaste is bitter with some sweet.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Hazy orange pour with beige head. Really nice, fresh aroma, fruity and slightly estery. Taste leans towards an amber ale, quite bitter and hoppy. Overall it’s an interesting blend but definitely heavier on the amber ale flavor profile.

There are plenty of bottles left at the Canal’s in Delran NJ. Huge botte. A good brew with hop, pine, caramel malts some spice and earth. Mikkeller always delivers and this brew was no different.

First beer of 2011! On draft at Rattle’n’Hum. Lots of rich, fresh hops as usual from Mikkeller. West Coast feel to the hops. A touch spicy and a little sweet. The wit character was pretty low key, but interesting. Very nice brew.

Medium sweet, light bitter, light fruity sour. Finish is long lasting fruity hoppy medium bittersweet, medium alcohol warmth. Full body, oily texture, medium carbonation. Bit heavy, interesting, strong flavor, nice one.

Bottle from Boxbeers - Color: hazy golden blond beer with small carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: hoppy and grassy domination with spicy hint. Taste: medium malt body, good spicy balance and finish fruity and hoppy. Good attenuation. OK. Aftertaste: wet bitterness, citrus OK.

Rated this last night on paper. Giant bottle (1 qt. 1 pt. 2.7 oz, to be exact) found on the discount shelf at Enoteca in PF, ID shared with Brenn79. Aroma is way hoppy. I get spruce needles (maybe?), lemon, coriander. Pours cloudy orange with a giant long-lasting off-white pillowy head. Creamy lace sheets the glass. Taste starts out sweet and spicy and finishes wit a bitter hop bite. Definitely more red ale or IPAish than witbier. Crisp, interesting, tasty. Carbonation is average and the mouthfeel is creamy. I was really impressed with this at first, but it started to get a little old. That was a really big bottle.
