UPDATED: OCT 12, 2010 [9/24/10] Draught at Borefts Beer Festival 2010. Hazy pale yellow-golden. Nice bretty barnyard aroma with lots of fresh fruits - apple, citrus, some tropical fruits. Sour flavor, spicy, with earth, a bit of fruits and sweet hints in the back. Medium-bodied. Something unpleasant and weird about this one and I can’t put my finger on it. Still not bad though. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 5, 2010
Draft @ BBF. Aroma of brett, somehow a bit milky, but in a good way.
Flavour is very smooth yet extremely sour.
Beers like this keep my love for sours growing. Bullit (4581) - Burgos, SPAIN - OCT 5, 2010
Tap @ 2nd BBF. Slightly hazy pale blonde colour, white bubbles. Aroma is sour, citrus and barnyard, some odd vanilla. Flavour is sour apple, barnyard and yeast. Travlr (24315) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 2, 2010
Draught at Borefts Beer Festival 2010, courtesy of Mikkel and the boys, thank you gentlemen! Hazy yellow, small white head. Aroma of sour dust and funk, a bit of grapes. Taste is dry, dusty, sour lemon, grapefruit, sweat, and I can be convinced of maybe a bit of rhubarb. Really nice example of the style, and more proof positive (Like Urbain’s Dirty Horse) that you CAN make a good lambik far from the Senne). bierkoning (13299) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2010
Tap @ BBF 2010. Pale blonde. Rhubarn and leather in the aroma. Quite sour flavor, milky with strong rhubarb notes. Lemon. More a Berliner weisse as a lambic.
