COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught at Borefts Beer Festival 2010, courtesy of Mikkel and the boys, thank you gentlemen! Hazy yellow, small white head. Aroma of sour dust and funk, a bit of grapes. Taste is dry, dusty, sour lemon, grapefruit, sweat, and I can be convinced of maybe a bit of rhubarb. Really nice example of the style, and more proof positive (Like Urbain’s Dirty Horse) that you CAN make a good lambik far from the Senne).

draft @ Boreft. Tart, citrus, white grapefruit - colour makes me think of a white grenache vin doux naturel. Taste is "wine-isch" as well. Nice!

Hazy very weak amber colour, no head. Fruity tart aroma, lemon, sweet orange, rhubarb and yoghurt. Quite tart sour flavour with a slight sweetness coming through. Rubarb, fruity, oxalic acid. Nice balance, really nice lambic.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2010 Handbottled by Theis. Thanks! Cloudy salmon like colur with rhubarb string floating around. Not very appealing. Quite acidic aroma with sour citric and rhubarb notes. Some sour apples as well. The flavour is sour fruit, acid and ends up light salty. Extremely dry finish. 7/2/6/3/14 New rating from Borefts Festival. Hazy yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is quite sour and acidic with notes of citrus. Very acidic and sour flavour with nice fresh rhubarb notes. Barnyard. Very dry finish. Great.

On tap at Mikkeller. Pours hazy yellow-white (milky) with a white head. Aroma is dominated by vinegar, dry citrus, dust notes and a hint of rhubarb. Flavour is dry lemon-lime, vinegar a little earth, some late sweetness and a distinct rhubarb tartness with a poppy seeds like after taste.
