330ml bottle from Gallagher’s Beer World/El Irlandés. Pours a hazy but bright reddish amber with some pink hues and a massive off-white, almost pink head. Aroma is fruity with some phenolic hints. Notes of sour cherries, rice, amaretto, a bit of candy sugar and biscuit. Quite light, almost pop drink but enough alcohol on it to give it a bit of a liquor character. Taste is moderately sweet and medium sour with fermented cherries flavor dominating throughout. Touches of sweet spices can be felt towards the finish. Traces of candy sugar coat the fruity tartness and a cereal backbone that includes rice. Not bad but also not one of the best fruit beer flavors I’ve had. Body is surprisingly light, I wonder if they used lager yeast. High carbonation and well defined alcoholic presence. Maybe a bit too much. An interesting experimental beer but not one I would die to try again. hawthorne00 (3903) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JAN 16, 2016
Bottle, Cambridge Cellars. Red-tinged amber with a very pale pink head. Aroma of cherries, almonds, sweet dough - pretty sure I can only smell rice pudding because I can read. Medium bodied, smooth, lowish carbonation. Sweet but not overwhelmingly so, nutty, mellow cherries with a suggestion of tartness, bitterness is on the low side of moderate - just cleaning up a bit at the end really. Alcohol is completely hidden. I suppose it’s the lactose that leaves a coat on the tongue. Good and really very clever. Maakun (5393) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 8, 2016
Bottle shared at home. Murky dark pink with off white head. Light musty cherry, hay, dough, some oatmeal porridge, quite herbal and grassy, mineral, light red berries and bitter almond skins. Under medium sweet and medium bitter finish. Medium bodied with a bit creamy feel. sjogro (3951) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 8, 2016
Maakun’s. One last bottle to destroy me completely. Amber to gold gradient all being sexy in my glass. Sweet li’l white head. Boom boom boom! Soapy fruitiness, bit of cardboard, grapes, orange flavored tea, yeasty business also. Body is medium, carbo fizzy. Okeydokey stuff. SeniorZozo (1841) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 5, 2016
Bottle. Aromas of cherry, almonds. Taste is not as tart as I thought it would be, can taste the cherry and the almonds give it a slightly creamy. Nice fruit beer.

Un dessert fatto birra. Dolce, zuccherosa, liquorosa ma anche parecchio pasticciata. Note di malto, panna, frutti rossi, zucchero a velo, caramello fanno a pugni balzando dal dolciastro all’acidulo. Corpo medio, effervescenza nella norma... non so che dire se non "curiosa"...! Florya (2023) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 13, 2015
