(on bottle, thanx for the bottle Jeppe, really helps being a nag, huh?)Very dark brown, almost black, steady beige head. Nice aroma of black cardemomme, cloves and cinnamon. Has a goos, perky mouthfeel. Tasting it, the black cardemomme totally takes over the picture. Getting warmer, the beer turns into a overtuned dentist/jägermeister/gammel dansk experience, and that´s just turned me off. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 5, 2006
Reddish brown colour with a light brown head. Malty and very spicy aroma with notes a pine hoppyness. Light roasted malty flavor, again lots of spices and a long dry, light citric finish. MPA (1040) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - DEC 31, 2005
"Message in a bottle" came to mind only had the "message" changed to "Christmas". Heavily spiced and full of little elves! Didn’t find any old stockings in this though, which should be taken as a compliment. Ho ho ho and a happy New Year! Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 27, 2005
Bottle. Red brown colour with a big baige head. Sweet malty, very x-mas spicy, hoppy aroma. Sweet spicy, anis, cinnamon, orangies taste. Medium to full body with a long sweet dry, spicy finish. Best X-mas beer this X-mas ! madsberg (11798) - Søborg, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2005
Bottled: Dark brown coloured. Dense brown head. Heavy spiced aroma. Cinnamon, cloves, ginger and anis comes to mind. Has a light sweetness and a rather heavy hoppiness. The spices is in the flavour as well. Spice, liqourice and light medical notes are dominant. Rather soapy, I think. Herbs and loads of hops, that leads into a very bitter end. Is medium bodied.

Bottled. Drank this beer at our companys christmas party. Dark and very hoppy. Wonderfull chocolate maly flavour. Really stays in you mouth. Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - DEC 14, 2005
Bottled. Dark brown coloured. Very nice aroma of Swedish julmust. Big malty and sweet flavour with loads of glögg spices. The finish is very bitter, partially from the sharp spiciness and partially from the obviously big amount of hops used. It is dry and lingering. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Very good. This beer actually came with a pixy hat, can it get any more x-mas than that! Lots of taste and a very well balanced beer. Warming and with a good taste of the spices. My only trouble here is that i am not that much of a "Glögg" drinker, but don’t let that keep you from drinking it if you get a chance, cause it’s still a migthy fine beer... joergen (29598) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 13, 2005
Dark brown coloured with a medium sized beige head.
Very spicy aroma dominated by cloves and cinnamon with notes of liquorice and citrus.
Spicy flavour with notes of liquorice. Spicy finish.
Interesting, but the flavour is too spicy for my liking.

Very strong spicy aroma, dont which kind of spices, but very christmas like, some sweet malts underneath. Unclear dark brown body with a medium sized tan head. Spices all over the flavor, strong malt flavor, some sweetness, some piney hoppyness in the end along with the spices. The alcohol gives you a warming sensation.
