Taste is grains, caramel, red berries, figs, dates, cinnamon, orange peel, wood, red wine and hints of vanilla, toffee and brown sugar. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Muddied rusty brown, no head. Rich barrel tang and soft fruity spiciness. Initial taste is skinny berry and soft spice. Kinda loose, soapy sweetness as it contrasts from the winey tang towards the finish. Simple clean fruit cake, wee bit fuzzy and sweet spice. BenH (3431) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 9, 2015
