0,75l bottle. Long lasting thick foamy light brown head. Deep brown colored, cloudy. Served 12°C. Sweet spicy aroma of raisins, citrus, apricot, ginger. Oilish semithick palate. Complex hard to describe flavor. Medium bitter, ginger, yeast. Sour and some metal at the end.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen, thanks to Anders Svensson. Opaque black beer with a nice beige head. Malty caramel aroma, raisins, figs, dades, some bread. Malty fruity flavor, grapes, caramel, banana, figs, raisins, plums, some warming alcohol. Aged with dignity.

Careful ageing but still not richer but poorer. Still above average mouthfeel but cocoa and sweetness dominates and not so drinkable.

750 ml bottle. BB 06/10/15. Bought some years ago... Dark brown colour with almost no head. Malt, sweetness, manure and alcohol in the aroma. The flavour is spices, sweet malt and alcohol. Totally flat. Not very nice. This hasn't been aging so well. Compared to 2010 vintage this bad... The flatness makes this unpleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

another nice year for this spicy decadent treat. As with most years, its warming without being hot and the right mix of yeasty and roasted malts. Very good.

bottle, waited on this much too long. cloudy amber brown pour, caramel malts, holiday spice. decent but im positive this way better a couple years ago

Bottle at No5. Hazy brown with sediments. Aroma heavy malty (dark fruits). Flavor heavy sweet, a bit yearthy notes. Almost full body. Spices and cocoa has disappeared.

An absolutely fantastic beer. One of my all-time favorites. I imagine they serve this in heaven!

Rated in 2010 (Backlog) - Brown in color with a large beige head. Aroma is of pine, wood, roasted malts, and chocolate. Taste is of roasted malts and pine.

Probably one of my favorite beers of all time. Complex flavours but still a very balanced beer and extremely good beer.
