Bottle. Poured black color with an average frothy brown head that lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate complex toasted malt, spice and alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet alcohol finish of moderate duration. This is a complex unbalanced beer.

The color is dark brown, almost black, with a nice creamy head, beige, reducing to a collar. Some smell of paint thinner, that covers the roasted malt, and is persistent. Good body strength; flavor of roasted malt, some dark chocolate, some spices, and strong, burning alcohol; also some chemicals, paint thinner, very light acetone.
Boozy and chemically challenging.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours black with a nice tan head that, unfortunately, disappeared in seconds, and a strong alcohol and treacle aroma. There is dark molasses, coffee and rum flavor that all goes together pretty well. yespr (47567) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2011
37.5 cL bottle. Pours dark amber to brown with a huge tan head. Aroma is wooden, acetone and phenols. Rather chemical - my wife gave up on this after a few sips. This malty, persisting chemical and ethanol dense. Light raisin sweetness beneath. Acetone and sweet malty finish, light pine touch way underneath. Difficult. thewolf (12803) - Kolding, DENMARK - NOV 11, 2011

Pours deep brown with a nice, staying, creamy, grey-beige head. Aroma is sharp, has acetone character, oak, raisins, chocolate. Low carbonation, fine dry and fat creamy mouthfeel. Flavour starts with mild acetone, raisins, liqourice, roasted, fairly sharp tartness, oak, some rum. Okay dryness. Drinkable and pretty, but only just drinkable.
Dark mahogany pour with crimson edges and a tightly packed latte head. Aroma of rum-soaked raisins, plum, caramel, vanilla, ad a touch of cocoa. Flavor is quite boozy with hot alcohol, dark fruit, cherry skin, and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel...nothing special. onkelgobber (163) - Edinburgh, - NOV 2, 2011
Very strong acetone feeling, alcohol, brown, hazy, minimal head, lightly bitter, heavily sour, salty, medium body, average carbonation, oily feel, astringent,
