Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, oak, bark, sorrel, mild vinegar, minerals, grass, alcohol, berry skin, spices, dark malts, hints of thinner. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and dry mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough, interesting.
[Thank you David!][375 ml. bottle split by two @ Boxing Day Tasting][Obv. 2010 Vintage.] Dark brown, tanned bubbles. Nose is quite boozy, harsh booze, almost going towards medicinal, herbal rum, very sweet & syrupy underneath, spice heavy rum, varnish note, vague oxidation but far less than expected. As usual with beer this vintage, ness is less than the taste. Taste is quite pleasant actually, warming very syrupy sweet sugary Belgian beer, dash syrop de Liège, thick sweet dark fruit & rum spice syrup, lower cough syrup, herbal, warming, pleasantly sweet, very thick lightly vinous sugar, caramel, very sweet Belgian, warming, faint varnish. Body is thick cough syrup herbal, very sweet & cloying Belgian with a good profile, held up surprisingly well. bnokk (548) - Lee, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 26, 2015

ACETONE. ACETONE. ACETONE. Might as well and head into a nail salon and drink some nail polish remover. Nasty ass shit. BiiruBierBeer (1059) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - APR 14, 2015
Smell is heavy alcohol, nail products, and some malt. Taste is pretty much the same. Gave me chills after downing it. Heavy carbonation, medium body, and a high amount of foam.

Rating #200. Bottle. Pours clear deep dark amber/brown with a surprising one-finger tan head. Aroma is vanilla and booze. Oak, rum, dark dried fruits and again tons of oaky vanillin, some spice. Bit sharp. Taste is loads of vanilla, sweet, finish is spicy and has some cocoa-like dryness. Low bitterness. Booze. Light body, but warming booze. The vanilla is over the top, and more sharp spice like. Valgreen (814) - DENMARK - NOV 12, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 13, 2014 Bottle @ døe øldommer smagning. Very dark brown, small tan head, nice lacing. Dark fruits, rum, vanilla, oak, roasted malts, alcholhol. slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 16, 2014
"Pours with a better than expected head, especially as this may have a little age on it. Barreling is a little too prevalent - pleasant in and of itself, but it also covers up much of the complexities of this strong, dark ale. Very little spices, lots of booze & sweetness. Good, but i prefer the unbarreled version for half the price."

2010 just as the title of the beer says.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a gentle dark brown color with a one finger white to off white foamy soft head. Once the head died off, there was a semi-thick speckled lacing pervading around the sides of the glass.
The smell had a slight boozy ginger to cinnamon with a decent dark chocolate and a milk chocolate involving itself with a semi-light coffee.
The taste was intriguing as it took all of those previously mentioned flavors and combined wonderfully.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body and I found myself sipping this for the most part. Sticky booziness smooths it’s way over my tongue and coerces me to luxuriously float in my recliner.
Overall, wow, what a night it was when I had this. For being several years old, this one still had it’s power at you know what, this was really good. jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2014
Pours dark brown almost black with no head. Aroma of booze, roast and milk chocolate. Taste is chocolate, roast, cinnamon, nutmeg and rum. Very thin.
