Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Cloudy red/brown - offwhite/light brown head. Raisins, fruity, phenolic - overripe fruits, roasted notes, light soapy, rubber, wine, minerals, chocolate, sweetness, sharpness, a bit wierd.

Bottle from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - pours hazy dark brown with a beige head. Medium sweet malty aroma and taste, caramel, cocoa notes, dark dried fruits, yeasty, some wooden notes, some wine nuances in there, not sure on this one, not as good as the original tbh.

The aroma is full of chocolate, coffee, spices, cane sugar and white wine. The color is pitch black. The taste is full of chocolate, coffee, spices, cane sugar, alcohol and white wine. A really nice beer!

Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Nose of paint and nail polish remover and sweet fruits!! Palate is airy and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Taste largely follows the snout and adds a little dry dark chocolate. Trace of vanilla before a dry finish. Very messy.

Bottle, 2011. Pours in deep dark amber body with medium tan head, which evades after a while. Aroma of apple puree right away, with some mango, fresh raisins. Pretty light on the wood aroma. Alcohol well hidden on the nose. Taste has white wine character upfront, which in one moment along with the soft carbonation gives me a sense of a Champagne wine. It’s mostly woody and winy flavour, but pretty balanced with the beer. Light roasty bitterness on the after taste with warming alcohol. Body is high, oily texture, soft medium carbonation.

Degu @erzbierschof. Heftiger, likörartiger Duft. Wenig Sojasauce.

Bottle thanks to RichtheVillan. Very dark brown beer with no head, a little carbonation. Aroma is rich malts and empty wooden wine barrels. Taste is wood, spice, rich thick malts, white wine, alcohol and some fortified wine. This has a lot of the right flavours, but they just don’t gel well. Otherwise a very interesting beer.
