Bottle from Brewdog mail order. Pours deep brown, scanty tan head. Big big big aroma of chocolate, smoke, coffee, hint of wood and tequila. Completely echoed on the taste. Lots of good things going one. Wood. Smoke. Booze. Coffee. Chocolate again. Complex, well made and lovely.

Bottle. Bottledog, Kings Cross. Shared with the missus on her 45th birthday. Hazy, dark chestnut brown. Bubbly, lasting, tan head. Nose has chocolate truffle. Booze soaked vine fruits. Dark chocolate malts. Woody, vinous tang. Impy stout vibe, for me. Taste is stunning. Sweet, and roast chocolate malt bitter, in absolutely perfect balance. Delicious, vine fruit tang. Smooth and unctuous, but incredibly drinkable. Finishes with a fruity, chocolate sweetness that never gets too much, because its held back by that tequila barrel tang. Lovely beer.

37.5cl bottle, served in tulip. Deep dark brown with medium beige frothy head. Chocolate, caramel and tequila on the nose (moderate intensity). Taste: Heavy dark malts, brown sugar and dark chocolate. The tequila aftertaste makes this brew so special. Full body, good carbonation. Quite impressive.
