If I could give this beer an 11 I would. It’s perfect. Sorry I’m not so good at explaining what I like and don’t like. But I love Belgian beer and this one is now at the top of my list. beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - DEC 13, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2012 Black, small to medium tan head. Chocolate, some coffee, dark fruit. Spices are subtle. Full body. Excellent balance and finish. Yet to have a Mikkeller beer I wasnt impressed with. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Pours very dark brown with a small brown head (looks like a stout). Smells like chocolate oranges with subtle hints of pine and spruce. Taste is coriander spiciness, chocolate, hints of orange, and subtle hints of booze. Full-bodied with a slick texture and active mouth-carbonation, Mikkeller Santa’s Little Helper 2012 finishes with subtle hints of spice and sweetness. Pyrmir (5984) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - DEC 14, 2012
330 ml bottle. Pours nearly black with a full beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, dark sugars and roasted malt. Taste rich and well balanced, Dark malts and sugars, not a lot of bitterness. Very pleasant. graham_murphy (672) - - FEB 18, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2013 Absolutely perfect for a christmas dinner. Sweet, warm autumnal flavours and very strong. Why drink wine when you can drink this?

Poured into a tulip glass. Dark cola brown with a thick, dense head of tiny brown bubbles. Aroma is malty and roasty with some chocolate and dark fruit notes as well as some Belgian candi sugar. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a lot of roastiness as well as some dark fruit and some of the Belgian yeast influence, and some piney hops towards the finish. Body is surprisingly light for the bold flavors and alcohol content. Has a slightly sticky mouthfeel and a long roasty/piney finish. This is dangerously drinkable for 11%. Overall this is an awesome beer with an incredible amount of flavor and alcohol that is still fairly light bodied and easy to drink. llkc (2323) - århus, DENMARK - NOV 7, 2013

I thought this was great. Great bread pudding aroma with a combination of sweet and alcohol. Soft deep brown color with a tan head. Full and weighty palate. Flavors of sweet bready malt with caramel, toffee, some nuttiness and spice. Ends with a lingering booziness. Great for the holidays. FaithHealer1 (358) - SCOTLAND - DEC 20, 2012
Keg at Friends of Ham. Pours an inky black, small bubbly head. Aroma is liquorice, spices (clove and juniper), some coffee and chocolate. Taste is similar - really nicely balanced. Medium-full body, low carbonation. Just very nicely balanced and really tasty - like Pannepot, but closer to my tastes. Very nice. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 26, 2013
Pours a cloudy dark brown with an average creamy brown head. Aroma is rich maltiness, dark fruity esters(raisins, plums, and cherries are most prominent), some mildy spicy phenols, caramel, alcohol, and a bit perfumey. Taste is chocolate, roasted malts, dark dried fruits (raisins, prunes, plums.), warming alcohol, caramel, and dark candy sugar.
