Huge thanks to daknole for sharing this one. Pours as advertised with a trim brown head that leaves sugary lacing despite the massive legs on this one. Smells incredible. Loaded with coffee, ink, plums, sherry, and purple playdough. Yes! petermadsen (390) - Vesterbronxxx, DENMARK - SEP 27, 2008
An extremely smooth impy! The aroma is very complex with hints of esspreso, alcohol, malt, citrus, hops and chocolate.
The flavour is big on sweet notes of sherry from the barrel, chocolate, roasted malt and a very wellbalanced coffee presence.
To the palate it is like drinking the most creamy espresso. harrisoni (19530) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2008
On tap at EBF 08. Last beer of the first day at the fest. Lovely aroma. Great choc. and then in mouth, it’s amazing. Stunning aroma, have to give it a 10. Vinous choc. Awesome. I love the mix of wine and beer. lassem (660) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2008
On tap at festival in Copenhagen. Pours a pitch black with a tiny dark-brown head. The nose is very sweet, vinoes and you clearly sense the barrel-aging. Due to the tap it is served pretty cold, but is growing and developing between your heating hands to a complex and very nice imperial stout. As the aroma the taste is sweet and vinoes with hints of fudge, dark caramel, licorice, burned malts. Nice and heavy Imp. stout with a long lasting fresh, sweet and complex finish.

Tap at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. Black color, moderate brown head. Aroma is fantastic roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is off course a hell of a lot of coffee, balanced with sweetness from the oak-agening. Yum, yum! Bullit (4790) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUL 1, 2009
Bottle @ kloneo. Black coloured. Aroma has roasted malts, marshmellow, vanilla, sherry. Flavour of toasted and bitter malts, vanilla, sherry and dark fruits. Long finish. This is an amazing IS! Plovmand (8682) - Grindsted, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2009
Bottle from Ølbutikken. Pitch black body with a medium brown head. Sweet liquor, chocolate, oak, sweet vanilla, dark molasses and raisins in the nose. Potent heavy oaky stout flavour with notes of vanilla, booze, light smoke, roasted malt, bitter coffee, chocolate and a bit soy. Velvet on the tongue. A fantastic and complex stout.
