COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Amarillo is a very popular American hop variety, which has gone from strength to strength all over the world. Plenty of floral aromas and pine needles and plenty of raw bitter taste. This Single Hopped IPA is a chance to taste Amarillo completely isolated from other hops.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (amarillo) and yeast.

Taste: juicy, bitter, albedo, orange, grapefruit, tangerine Nose: hops, lots of oranges and yellow fruits. Finish full of bitter albedo plus unfortunately alcohol.

Piwo koloru bursztynowego, lekko zmętnione. Aromat średnio intensywny. Czuć melon, cytrusy, pojawia się też kwiatowość. W smaku również średnio intensywnie. Tropiki, cytrusy, goryczka na finiszu. Bardzo pijalne. Ogólnie dobre, ale bez szału.

Pours darker orange/amber, decent foamy beige head. Comes down, leaving some lacings. OK, going to attempt to get a feel of amarillo now. Metallic and watery aroma for some reason, also bitterly raw. Some fruits underneath, maybe even some melons - bit not really what I was expecting from the hop variety. Can it be that the can has been suffering in quality while sitting on the shelf? Tastes bitter, metallic again, some quite decent bitter vibes but fruitiness is somewhat subdued again and bitterness is very rough. Long and very bitter dry finish. Was expecting something different from this one, more sweetish fruits, more floral stuff going on.

The Amarillo hop bitterness speaks out, but is complimented by rich sweet aromas (malty, fruity), some spices, grass, and a touch of roast. A good beer, but somehow I wasn’t overly impressed.

Draught at Mikopolis. Pours amber with a white head. The Aroma and taste showcases Amarillo hops, balanced brew.

Baghaven, Copenhgen tap: pours amber with white head. Aroma is hefty pine, earthy malt. Taste is bitter and quite earthy. Reminds me back in the day when this series was a thing. Lingering bitter aftertaste. I used to think this was a lot better.

330ml can served in a pint glass. Pours a dark orange to amber color forming a medium and persistent light beige head that leaves tons of lacings in the glass. Nose is grassy and citrus. Hints of pine and grapefruit. Slightly sweet upfront. Again Strong notes of grapefruit, caramel malts and grass. Pine, resin and citrus hints. Good bitterness. Medium body. Good carbonation. Grass, pine, grapefruit and caramel in the aftertaste. Great drinkability. Nice European IPA.
