Very strange nose !
Smoked ham and cooked vegetable ...
I don’t really know if Apollo hop variety gave this profile to the beer or if this is a reduction note linked to a fermentation issue. Anyway, that’s interesting for tasting, not really for drinking ... maybe served with a Sauerkraut ... nothing else ! sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - JAN 13, 2012
Pours amber with a large off-white head. Aroma is malt and tropical fruit. Flavour is malt, sweet notes, tropical fruit, pineapple and mango. gunnar (9696) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JAN 5, 2012
On tap at Henrik, Bergen. Pours hazy dark golden with a small white head.
Strong citrus and flowery hop aroma. Taste of really fresh hops, fruity with a herbal touch of mint at the end. Not bad at all. Dry mouthfeel.

Draught. Low fluffy white and quickly disappearing head. Hazy orange body. Fruity hoppy aroma and flavor. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste. Alcohol well hidden. olsvammel (7289) - Örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 30, 2011
Bottle at Bishops Arms in Örebro. Apollo reminds me a bit about Sorachi Ace, but the dill aroma isn’t as agressive. Nice to try a new kind of hops, but I don’t think I will be using this one in one of my own brews.

29-DEC-2011, bottle @home, from "Kihoskh".
Amber/golden with lasting beige head.
Nose is grape fruit, resin, and grass. Also a slight skunky note is there.
Taste is grape fruit, iron, grass, earth, and a bit more skunk.
Ends bitter and long, but not in a superfruity pleasant hoppy way.
Malty notes in this brew as well, but i sort of concentrate on the hop variety. Not a favorite hop. anders37 (27062) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2011
Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grassy bitter aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit finish. berlinoise2go (689) - NORWAY - DEC 11, 2011
Bottle (33cl) from Kihoskh, Copenhagen. Hazy amber colour. Sticky, offwhite head, some lacing. Aroma of funky hops, grapefruit, resin, orange. Well-balanced taste. Medium body, soft carbonation JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - DEC 11, 2011
Fully hazy amber-orange beer under fluffy, dense, dirty cream-coloured beer; shards of lace. Horrible basement smell, mushrooms, sulphur or/and saltpetre, cat’s pee, ureum, valerian and old, oxydized oatmeal (I was going to write ’socks’...) Again ureum to the fore, the smell of lilies, or cut lilies in a watervase. Retronasal, the basement aroma, with meaty and mouldy notes return. Rather well-bodied, thick and creamy MF. But that smell... Yikes. That one (catty) hop can change so much. Agreed, there is some amount of fleetingness, the intensity of this off-smell diminishes somewhat warming up. Yet, another Sorachi Ace for me, please. BoBoChamp (5878) - Gent, BELGIUM - NOV 22, 2011
33cl, new Danish brew Anno 2011, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex bitter brew, fruity and slightly sweet/malty, balanced, hazy, rocky head, good brew
