Bottle pour clear orangish red. Nose of pine, citrus, grass, and tropial fruit, with some malty sweetness. Taste citrus bite of hops initial, followed by mid palate sweet malt, and decent long bitter finish. Slight pepper spice in the finish.

(Rating #4585)

Hazy amber beer, good white head. Creamy malt base. Bravo here comes over as mostly pine but with a distinctly lime citrus undertone and a little tangerine. Finishes semi dry with mild minerals. Mild bitter aftertaste. Very nice!

Cloudy reddish copper. Aroma is usual mix of gentle caramel, cereal, and hops - hops in this case provide a really floral character. Gentle bitterness. Fruity, almost juicy. Unconventional ipa, but enjoyable.

Copper orange with a huge foamy head. Beautiful! Gentle floral aromas. Light to medium body, medium bitterness, average carbonation, gentle floral hoppiness. A delicate IPA. Nice.

In short: A toasted and sugary amber IPA with herbaceous hops Uninteresting.
How: Bottle 330ml, consumed a few weeks after receiving it through private import group, as fresh as a Mikkeller can be in Canada.
The look: Medium cloudy amber body topped by a medium off-white head with good retention and leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: Nose is herbaceous hops with a strange mix of new-car smell and dirt. Taste is very toasted, sugary malts, dry bread crumbs, a bit of old crunchy caramel and old crunchy honey, a good amount of herbaceous hops, light ginger powder spiciness. Bitterness of short duration and medium intensity. Hard to put my finger on it, but the whole thing didn’t work very well for me, nothing wrong with the brew I guess, just not my type of IPA. Nothing special here, just another average IPA, just another IPA rating, and in 500 years from now when archeologists unearth the ratebeer database and see the millions of beer ratings they will be horrified to see who their ancestors where.
