3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Foamy light reddish brown. Aroma is quite layered for a single hop - citrus, stonefruits, subtle spruce. Taste doesn’t quite live up to the aroma, but that may be from being a couple months old. Taste is a little one dimensional. Altogether pleasant beer. Perhaps some tiny diacetyl
Aroma : aromatic pine, citrus, floral notes and some tangerine. Mouth : pleasant citrus hoppiness, some pine and green herbs Casper0904 (488) - DENMARK - SEP 9, 2017
The taste is ventennial, and it´s great... in the beginning, then like other single hops, boring in the end, despite i love the centennial very much. alexsdad06 (10636) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 5, 2017
Bottle picked up at The Party Source from backlog notes. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted malts, caramel, some floral notes, grapefruit citrus, just a hint of spicy hops, doesn’t seem as old as most. Korcz (3389) - Warsaw, POLAND - APR 19, 2017

0.33l bottle. Hazy amber with medium white head. Aroma: citrus, zest, caramel. Taste: citrus, resins, caramel. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Moderate bitterness. UXO (1896) - CANADA - SEP 27, 2016
Appearance: hazy medium amber with one fat finger of rocky ivory head, excellent retention and chunky lacing. (4/5) Aroma: resiny pine, caramel, grapefruit pith, candied fruits. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, high bitter. (7/10) Medium slightly oily body, moderate carbonation, off-dry warming and lingering bitter finish. (3/5)
Yes, another dusty shelf turd, but “only” seven months past its BB date, so that hardly counts, right? This higher ABV and high bitterness certainly seems to have protected it to some extent, and it’s still hop forward - hell, even a hop bomb. It’s possible the malts and fruit flavours have turned a little darker, perhaps, but hard to tell. Still lots of fun, but not for the faint of heart. (14/20) Dandm (125) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 18, 2016
Doing a marathon of dusty old 2012 mikkeller single hops. First one. Heavy, dark sediment. Pine, sweet, alcohol. Plenty bitterness. Watery texture. Some bitter aftertaste. Stays in the nose. StevieT (2016) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 10, 2016
From a bottle. This really shows off the hop flavour profile, heaps of dank pine resin going on. Liked it a lot.
