Kosmokrator (849) - ITALY - FEB 13, 2014

Pours a pretty hazy copper with a medium sized off white head that sticks all over the sides of the glass. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruits(more dominantly apricot, mango), biscuits and caramel. Flavour is citrus, apricot, passion fruit, mango, some caramel, biscuits, good full mouthfeel(likely from good amounts of hop oils), medium easy drinking bitterness, maybe a touch of booze hiding in the background and a relatively dry finish. Educational and tasty, thank you Mikkeller!

330ml bottle @ home. From Saveur Biere.

Dark orange colour with small white head. Could be more fresher. Quite boring.

Pours a darker yellow colour, with slight head that dissipates. Aroma is hoppy, citra, some sweetness and fruityness. Body is nicely carbonated, not too bitter or dry, nicely balanced, some maltyness, floral, grass and citrus hops. Aftertaste is very soft, slightly bitter, only after a long while do some grassy notes appear.

Tap. Hazy redish color. Medium size, white head, stays. Malty, hops, raw grainy aroma. Malty, juicy, grapefruit, dry yeast in taste. Strange bitterness in taste and aftertaste. Unbalanced.

Sticky aroma, think my nose hairs will stick together. Sticky palate. Raw. Mess. So sticky, a bit fruity. A mess. Flavourful, but not good.

Crazy aroma. Like squashed tangerine peel. Bit too empty on the taste. Bitter but not much else going on. Nice finish. Wish it tasted more like it smelled.

glennmastrange (2823) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - DEC 18, 2013
Bottle. Light to moderate malt notes of roasted and caramel, moderate lemon for the hops, faint soap for the yeast, with a hint of pepper. Head is small, frothy, off-white with a spot or two of lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is muddy light brown, with a good amount of medium sized particles. Flavor starts lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic. Palate is medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation. A little one dimensional, but still a nice citrus-y IPA.
