Bottle at the saint bock in montreal. Dark, hazy amber pour, frothy off white head. Big tropical fruit aroma with alot of citrus zest, and surprisingly some notes of caramel malts, that i was not expecting. The mouth feel is a tad viscous, and the carb is very soft. The finish is medium bitter, and there is more tropical fruit, and citrus zest. The hops seem juicier in the finish, with some herbal notes also. Not bad but not great, i think the bottle was a little old. No date on it though.

Keg a Beer Temple, 12th June 14. Nice, fresh clean IPA, lots of fruit, good bitterness, liked it

On tap at the BeerTemple. Hazy orange gold pour with lacy white head. Aroma is hoppy, definitely some citra, lemon zest, pine, orange and a bit of grass and ammonia. Taste is hoppy but also quite malty, citrusy hop, honey caramel malt, piney bitter finish. Palate is medium bodied with light-med carbonation. Tasty.

Benzai (16192) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUN 12, 2014
Bottle @ home. Hazy orange color, average to medium sized beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is lightly malts, old hops and a touch of overripe fruits. Lost it’s freshness somewhere. Taste is better though, malts, hops, very bitter and decently fruity. Still detectable that the beer is a bit old or at least not a 100% fresh anymore. All things considered a modest IPA at best. Medium body, a bit high carbonated.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a hazy dark orange with eggshell lacing. Smells of sweet pale malt and citrus hops (in that order). Tastes like it smells with an average (at best), full-bodied mouthfeel. Another typical Mikkeller malt bomb.

AgentAle (1783) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 23, 2014
Aroma is floral with some passion fruit and guava hints. Taste more/less matches but the full mouth bitterness is exceptionally smooth in finish given its up front potency. Body is a dark orange that is fairly cloudy. The body is a pearl white that has pretty good retention.
