side by side withcascade clearly more of mellow vibe. o verall fairly similar otherwise subtle bittering.
From a 7 year old unopened keg.
Deep brown color w/ red hue.. not much head to speak of. Smell is of candied sugar, malt.. can’t find any hops. Taste is earthy, a bit flat.. dark fruit, malt. Very smooth, almost too smooth and lifeless. Love to have it fresh. kaser (6219) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 8, 2015
Dark orange pour from 12oz bottle at home, white head. Aroma is yeasty, bread, citrus, basement and boozy. Taste is dank fruit, malts, a little bitter, and also kind of boozy. Just average, must not be a fan of this hop I’ve never heard of. radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 30, 2014
330ml bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York. Orange amber in colour with a thin but lasting off-white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is a bit bready, light citrus with some caramel. The flavour is lightly bitter, some oranges, light hops, some light spice, toffee sweetness. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium/light body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, lightly bitter with an underlying sweetness. A lighter hop but Mikkeller seems to have put it to good use. slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 23, 2014
"Pine, earthy hops. A little too malty with this hop, not one of my favorites, being used. Still pleasant, though.. Alengrin (5249) - BELGIUM - AUG 24, 2014
The East Kent Golding version in this fascinating series, with milky, pale beige head which is relatively unstable compared to the other versions; deep cloudy amber colour. Fresh fruity aroma of peach, lemon zest, apple peel, grass, grapefruit, flowers, nutmeg and caramel. Soft fruity taste with subdued citrus, smooth caramel malt base, quickly dominated by a soft herbal, grassy, flowery hop bitterness, refreshing and tingling, long, staying mild and gentle as can be expected from this variety.

Flavours are sweet caramel and biscuit with good leafy notes and pine. Very good. travita (4988) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 16, 2013
Backlog of ratings. Thanks to someone at one of bu11zeye’s tastings. The look is orange in color, off white head, and cloudy. The smell is hops, fruits,
floral, and grass. The taste is some bitterness, floral, grassy. Lupulucid (189) - - AUG 25, 2013
Didn’t notice 22/12/11 on the cap. This shouldn’t have been on the shelf. Malt is kind of nice but hops are pretty much all gone. The result is hollow.
