Thanks to jkwalking05. I agree with Cavie. I used to work at Calloways Nursery, and its about right on the aroma. Tastes like stale fruit and grain. Maybe some hops in the finish.

TEJA (2625) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 24, 2009
Bottle at Halvfrck panna. High fluffy beige head. Fresh grapefruit aroma with passionfruit and a small sulphur note. The taste is plesant smooth for an IPA with just a tuch of caramell. Well fermented with a good body and a smooth bitterness. The best of the single hop from Mikkeller.

Bottle. Pours clear darkish amber with a big rocky white head leaving plenty of lace. The hoppy aroma is very nice and has notes of honey, caramel and pine. The flavour is fairly similar with honey and caramel as well as a bit of citrus. Medium bodied with a very smooth mouthfeel. Fairly sweet but far from sickly, this is a really good IPA, less aggressive than some, and shows off the particular hop variety nicely.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2010 Pours dark straw with 2-finger fluffy off-white head. Nose is great, a medley of resiny hops, mango, tangerine, black pepper. Having been exposed to this hop during the Sly Fox varietal IPA endeavors, I was really lookinf forward to it here, and I was not disappointed. The flavor is rich, hoppy, resiny, with tangerine, pineapple, mango, and a fruity, hoppy, citric finish that makes me wish I had more. This one is fantastic, and if you gave the aroma score less than 9 then shame on you.

Pours a hazy orange with thick frothy beige head. Aroma of citrus, pine hops, pineapple, caramel malts, spice. Similar taste, great hops finish. Nice blend of the malts and pine hops here. My favorite of the mikkeller single hops beers. Thanks Butters for the taste test.

Shared during some monday night football with curly, scottyp, and barrios. Tasted in a side by side with the nugget, warrior, and cascade. By far my favorite of the lineup. All pour the same clear golden amber, but this had a massive frothy head and good lacing. Nose is tremendous pineapple sweetness with just a hint of caramel. Flavor is a little piney. Some spiciness from the hops. Very good

Cavie (4368) - Arlington, Texas, USA - SEP 19, 2009
Bottle courtesy of jkwalking05. Clear orange pour. Huge hop aroma. Smells like Calloways Nursery. Pine trees, earth. Taste is piney and earthy. Not as hoppy as the scent but still spicy.

from crackedkettle.com - hazy red-orange colour with a huge slightly beige foam; the nose is very hoppy with citric, peachy and creamy notes; full-bodied and oily, very bitter, long fruity and bitter hoppy, piney finish - refreshing and straightforward
