Man. Smells awesome. Pine and citrus, all in one hop. Extremely well balanced. Tastes like a perfect IPA. Not too much of this or that. I’ll drink the hell out of this glass. The hops are great, the overall balance of the flavor is what gets it high ranks. I won’t go as far to say it’s better than Alpine’s Nelson, but it’s in a different league. Tasty. Should have bought more of these.

0,33L can bought at the Bottle Shop HK. Appearance: Pours a hazy deep orange colour with thick soapy white head that leaves quite a lot of lacing. Aroma: Mainly tropical fruit, citrus, pine, biscuit malt and some subtle sweet honey. Some subtle grape, apricot and floral aroma as well. Taste: Similar with the aroma, with medium citrus, piney and grape-rind bitterness, and caramel, biscuit malt sweetness. Some traces of grassy and grape-like fruitiness when swallow. Palate: Oily texture with a medium body and moderate carbonation. The finish is dominated by piney and herbal bitterness. Overall: Good amount of tropical fruit hoppiness. The bitterness is not overly strong but does linger for quite some time. However, as a single hop IPA that solely aims to let Nelson Sauvin hop to shine, I was expecting some hop characters such as grape, gooseberry and grapefruit. Instead, it only has a slight presence of grape and citrus and is dominated by some herbal and piney flavours and overly strong biscuit and caramel malt, which I personally think is not the most suitable malt bill for showcasing Nelson hop. The Simcoe single hop IPA I had four months ago was a more balanced and distinctive one. I am expecting more from Mikkeller's single hop series.

puszka/kufle i widelce. miedziane, klarowne, z obfitą czapką białej piany, która ładnie zdobi szkło i pozostaje do końca picia w postaci obfitej czapki. aromat słodowy, miodowy, karmelowy, trochę zgniłych owoców, lekko stęchły, kwiatowe, winogronowe, przyprawowe, mega bogaty aromat. w smaku goryczka umiarkowana z plusem, lekko fenolowe, goryczka pozostaje na języku, nasycenie w punkt. bardzo ciekawe

33cl can at home. Appearance: hazy light amber with medium, off-white head. Aroma: plastic, blueberry bublegum, pine, some peach. Taste: medium sweetness and high bitterness. Notes of malts, hop resin, pine, peach and light fruits. Palate: medium bodied, watery texture and medium carbonation. Not great. Quite harsh actually.

0,33 l can. Pours hazy light amber with a finger of thick off white lasting head. Aroma is fruity, pears, peaches, some citrus and tropical fruit like aromas, honey and biscuit like malty aroma, slightly earthy, woody and funky white wine. Taste is medium sweet compensated with a nice medium slightly harsh bitterness. Body is medium, texture is almost oily, carbonation average. Finish is quite long, starts fruity followed by a big earthy, rather harsh bitter kick.
