Sample at CPH beerfestival. Medium head with medium duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are hops, fresh and fruity, some citrus. Not that bitter. Plovmand (8586) - Grindsted, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2009
Draught. Hazy yellow body with a white medium head. Light hoppy aroma with caramel and some spicy notes. Spicy flavour with some fruity and malty notes. Smooth creamy body. Not my favorite hop. Grovlam (4252) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2009
Draught. [Beer festival 2009] Huge thick beige head that really lasted. Good display of lacework. Golden light cloudy color. Aroma of citrus, peach, orange, flower, fruity, light caramel and mild toasted malt. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated bitter flavor with some counter sweetness. Lingering citrus light oily fruity finish. KnutAlbert (6771) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 20, 2009
Bottle from Ølbutikken.
Candyfloss head over a hazy brown beer.
Dust, flowers, a maouthwatering dryness. Very nice, very refreshing, but not very complex. A good showcase for the Nugget. Dedollewaitor (16333) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 20, 2009

Ølbaren, Copenhagen. A thin greyish head covering a crystal clear, deep amber colored body. Resinous, citrus-fruity and spicy hop aroma. Lots of evergreen in the flavor; pine neddles and resin, also citrus zest and notes of flowers and earth. Subdued malt body. Mid-bodied. Long bitter finish. A very hoppy beer, appears a bit one-dimensional, still a nice treat.
A rather good IPA but not one to turn over my world as I know it. Bitter, of course, and very smooth, but not as special as some of the other beers by this brewery. MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2009
Draught, 6.9% at KØ09. Good grassy hop aroma. Cloudy dark orange colour. Small tan head. The flavour has a distinct hoppiness, but still mild and round. Hint of earth, not a problem, but unexpected. Good bitterness, does not show itself much until quite late. Rough and clean. Also good body, actually. thewolf (12755) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2009
Tap @ Ølfestival, Valby, 2009.Todeon (325) - SWEDEN - MAY 17, 2009
Pours hazy amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has lots of fine hops, lightly fruity, lots of pine and flowers. A fair caramelly background. Dry and nice mouthfeel. Flavour is dy, lots of hops, caramel, pine and a touch of grapefruit. Good, but not nearly as good as some of the others.
UPDATED: MAY 20, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazyorange color. Aroma is hoppy and fruity with lots of bitter tones. A bit sweet to. Taste is hoppy with some grape and sweet caramel. Not one of the better Mikkeller Single Hops.
