Pours muddy brown with a small, creamy, film head. Aroma is lovely hoppy, very fruit, melons, apricot and grapefruit. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is nicely hoppy, though never overly bitter. Apricot dominating over a fair caramel malt base. Really a nice IIPA.

Dark ruby-hazelnut brown color, not much head. Strong hop juice aroma. A bit sweet, extremely hoppy with licorice-malty flavors. Hops and malts both in extreme, a bit similar to Nøgne ø #100. Good beer when sampled in small quantities.
Draught at EBF 2008. Hazy amber colour with a small creamy head. Aroma and taste of sweet malts and fruits with a nice bitter finish. Oily palate. JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - SEP 19, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Draught Little head left, red-hazy amber beer. Extremely dry-hoppy nose. Caramel, fruit cake. Bitter-hoppy, near metallic, but balanced by good cakey malts. Some fruityness, bit oily from the hops, vinous. Impressive IIPA, and essentialy American - including in the never-ending name. Grovlam (4253) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 19, 2008
[EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Small foamy white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Hazy brown color. Aroma of heavy bitter floral notes with a mix of fruity apricot and grapefruit, citrus and pineapple. Over the palate came good counter sweetness from the caramel, toasted malt. Almost full bodied with a soft carbonation and heavy dry texture. Strong bitter flavor with some counter sweetness. Oily and at the same time very dry fruity/floral bitter finish. Bugrat (61) - Cph. Keep ’em commin. This kind of beer i just love. Perfect blend of malts and the quite raw simcoe hop. Keep ’em commin...
