Looks like this bottle was brewed @ De Proef. 11.2oz bottle, cap marked 22/10/10 (best by Oct 22, 2010 my guess). Hazy orange caramel with a big three finger off-white head, good retention. Big perfumey citrus and tangerine, some bitter earth and herbal notes (though faint). I can only pick up on a little sweet caramel. Flavor has some white pepper and quite a bit of bitterness added--very earthy bitterness, I might add. Bitterness peaked around a 6-7 in the dry finish. Light to moderate carbonation with a medium body. I thought this was pretty good--I’m always a bit wary of European brewed American IPAs.
$6.99 @ City Beer in San Fran.
Drinked in a three weeks can. On the nose, papaya, mature mango and mature melon. In mouth is medium bodied, a bit harsh, tipical modern ipa. Nothing special but not bad. brnandersen (3984) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2017
33 cl. can poured in to a Tulip. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a creamy, off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, spruce, resin and a lightly toasted note. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus fruits and caramel malts. This beer is brewed for the first time from early 2006. Even trough the recipe is 11 years old, and the IPA style has undergone a huge development this remains a well made IPA. nosajhongkong (86) - North Point, HONG KONG - AUG 5, 2017
0,33 L can bought at HK Brewcraft.
Appearance: Pours a hazy deep orange, copper colour. Thick soapy off-white head that leaves nice lacing.
Aroma: Full of citrus, grapefruit, passion fruit and orange, with strong piney nose. These are very symbolic Simcoe hops character. There is also some subtle earthy notes with hints sweet caramel malt.
Taste: Light to medium sweet caramel malt, medium hop bitterness of grapefruit, pine and some herbal, earthy notes..
Palate: Medium body with moderate carbonation. Finished bitter, with subtle pine and citrus.
Overall: A very distinctive and classic IPA that allows Simcoe hops to stand out nicely. Good balance of sweet caramel malt and bitter citrus, grapefruit and pine, with a very elegant and long-lasting bitter finish. A solid, hoppy single hop IPA. davidezdonz (511) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - JUL 27, 2017
A 330ml can with a best before date of 7th November 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It was a dark copper amber colour with a two finger off white head that had good retention and left nice lacing. Aromas of pineapple and candied orange sweetness with hints of caramel, berries, pine and grapefruit. Tastes of sweet malt, light caramel, pine, grass and herbal with hints of bitter citrus and mixed berries. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall this was pretty good, but the malts seemed to take charge when it was supposed to showcase a single hop, which was a bit disappointing. However I did feel that this was the best of the four Single Hop Series that I tried. rayaron (1885) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - JUN 11, 2017
Can at Budapest. Hazy deep golden with frothy beige head. The aroma is soapy with notes of onion, citrus and herbal tea. Bitterish flavor with notes of onion, herbs, earthy, some citrus (rotten orange),light malty sweetness. Medium-bodied.

Canned 330ml. -at Magic Beer Room Zagreb. Hazy orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head, candy like fruity sweetness in the nose. Moderate malty, light caramel, citrusy hoppy and notes of oranges in the finish. Dry finish also. Nothing thrilling here. adster (817) - HUNGARY - JUN 3, 2017
Opálos teaszínű test, tojáshéj hab, fenyős, trópusi gyümölcs-héjas aromák. Közepesen telt, enyhén vizes, keserédes izvilág, mangós, gyantás, karamellás jegyekkel, visszafogott intenzitással. Egyszerű ivósör jelleg, attól azonban karakteresebb levezetéssel. surething_ii (407) - Šenkvice, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAY 31, 2017
Can from Pezinská pivná pumpa. Dark amber hazy color with creamy head. Aroma is nothing extra, but the taste. Thats one hoppy ride with bits of sweetness and everything matches together. Even the lasting bitter finish is great. I love it. Marko (5753) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 24, 2017
Can at Magic Beer Room - thanks Andrej! Murky darker orange/amber body. Aroma... full on tropical fruit, like this candy we had here as kids, soft and nice. The taste unfortunately isn’t as intensive, mixing light maltiness with light tropical bitterness, but also a solid, fine bitterness in the finish. Beat the two Amarillos and the Cascade IIPA I’d had just before! LakatosKE (496) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAY 23, 2017
