11.2 oz bottle via Hagen. Pours a very hazy orange with a very large off-white head. Nose is all about the piney reasiny Simcoe hops. I am sooo looking forward to this as Simcoe hops are my #1 fav (along with Centennial). Mmmm this is hop hop hopalicious. Starts bittersweet, ends dry and bitter and in between is lots of mouthpuckering goodness..flavors of pine, grapefruit, orange-rind, pine, more pine, some pineapple, some more grapefruit and then pine which last long into the glorious aftertaste. 2 minutes later i can still taste it. Yum fracking yum.
Body is medium/full, carbonation is medium. THis is one of the few beers i can say was worth buying at $6 for an 11.2 oz bottle! wnewberr (100) - Huntersville, North Carolina, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Anxious to try the other 17 but I don’t think they’ll stand up to the Simcoe hop. Of course, that speaks for the Simcoe hop. Grapefruit aroma and flavor. Palate leaves me wanting more and more. Head was pillowy! JonL (9) - Toodyay, AUSTRALIA - NOV 29, 2009 does not count
What can I say that hasn’t been said...looks good, lovely aroma, good mouthfeel and a taste that leaves you wishing for more. Definitely one of the highlights of the year. Sledutah (7530) - Utah, USA - JAN 7, 2010
11.2oz bottle Nisse666 (7405) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 5, 2010
Appearance: Hazy golden with a nice big off white head and lots of lacing. Bits of hops floating in the beer.
Aroma: Strong citrus, pine
Taste: Tons of citrus and grapefruit all the way through and stays with you at the finish
Wow, this is probably the best IPA I’ve had. Simcoe is my favorite hop and this beer showcases it. My next homebrew I’m going us simcoe all the way through and hope to get close to this.
Serveringstemp 8 grader, flaska
UTS: rödbrun, härligt skumtak med en ohomogen struktur.
Liten jästfällning som sitter kvar utan att riskeras i glaset.
Skummet smakare gott av aprikos
D: jäst, aprikos
S: lätt bitterhet, aprikos, perfekt kolsyra, grape tonic (ni vet groggvirket), ståndaktig humle parad
ES: lätt bitterhet, aprikos, perfekt kolsyra, grape tonic (ni vet groggvirket), ståndaktig humle parad
Jästfällningen är syrligt odrickbar!

Poured from 12oz bottle, immediate hop aroma. Head is thin white, fading quickly... not as fresh as it should be tasted. Background flavors are minimal, the hop taste is clean and well presented. Slightly sweet and crondonik (32) - California, USA - MAR 2, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2009 Bottle. 1/4 inch thick head, some bubbles but mainly solid. color is golden and has a beautiful haze of hop matter floiting around. smell is of pungent stinging hops that produce resin, citrus, pine, urine, white pepper aromas. Does have a good malt presence to balance the hops. Taste is like taking a whole hop out of the boil and sucking on it. Sticky, piney, just hops, with a perfectley timed hint of the malt to remind you that the sip is over. I wish this was the only beer breweries could make, besides a good stout. drpimento (3634) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - APR 18, 2010
Oh man, they hit it with this one! After opening the bottle the beer slowly started to foam out the top. Poured with a thick foamy frothy off white to very light tan head and good lacing. Color is a cloudy medium amber with some sediment. Aroma is mainly Simcoe hops with some malt caramel and toffee. Taste is like aroma but with a perfect touch of sweetness to counter the hop. So well done. Excellent body and carbonation. Finish is likewise super. Wanna have another sip - no, gulp. This is the best of the three single hop beers Cascade and Warrior. Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Loved every bit of it. Only thing I regret is not drinking the tap dry.
Fantastic aroma. Fruity. Great appearence. Honey coloured. davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 13, 2012
At bar Fred. Great aromas of caramel and grass. Very well balanced, and creamy in the palate.
