3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from systembolaget. Big head that quickly overflow the glass, over carbonated. The fluffy white head then stays a long time. The aroma is typical american with grapefruit and tropial fruits but also a small sulfur aroma that goes away after a few sniffs and swirls. The hops dominate the tastewith just a small caramell. Nicly fermented with a low residual suger content. The bitterness is low to balanced that makes this a wery drinkable beer in larger amounts (for a IPA).
Can. Pours orange gold, Lively off white foam head (if you pour it badly in a tulip glass. Aroma apricot grassy resinous and yeasty. Taste is medium sweet to full bitter taste. Palate is medium bodied, lively to average carbonation, sticky, feel, long bitter finish. Slightly befuddled by the Belgian brewery attribution for a Danish beer. But a pleasant pale. Can. Hazy orange bronze. Fruity resin pine hop aroma. Bomb. Taste is much more honey and resin. At first prickly but the finish is quick. After some chalky bready yeast and mild bitterness. A nice ipa, straight forward, O could go for more bitterness, but that aroma is bitchin! melush (4737) - SPAIN - OCT 6, 2017

Drinked in a three weeks can. On the nose, papaya, mature mango and mature melon. In mouth is medium bodied, a bit harsh, tipical modern ipa. Nothing special but not bad.

33 cl. can poured in to a Tulip. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a creamy, off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, spruce, resin and a lightly toasted note. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus fruits and caramel malts. This beer is brewed for the first time from early 2006. Even trough the recipe is 11 years old, and the IPA style has undergone a huge development this remains a well made IPA. nosajhongkong (91) - North Point, HONG KONG - AUG 5, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2017 0,33 L can bought at HK Brewcraft.
Appearance: Pours a hazy deep orange, copper colour. Thick soapy off-white head that leaves nice lacing.
Aroma: Full of citrus, grapefruit, passion fruit and orange, with strong piney nose. These are very symbolic Simcoe hops character. There is also some subtle earthy notes with hints sweet caramel malt.
Taste: Light to medium sweet caramel malt, medium hop bitterness of grapefruit, pine and some herbal, earthy notes..
Palate: Medium body with moderate carbonation. Finished bitter, with subtle pine and citrus.
Overall: A very distinctive and classic IPA that allows Simcoe hops to stand out nicely. Good balance of sweet caramel malt and bitter citrus, grapefruit and pine, with a very elegant and long-lasting bitter finish. A solid, hoppy single hop IPA. davidezdonz (591) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - JUL 27, 2017
A 330ml can with a best before date of 7th November 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It was a dark copper amber colour with a two finger off white head that had good retention and left nice lacing. Aromas of pineapple and candied orange sweetness with hints of caramel, berries, pine and grapefruit. Tastes of sweet malt, light caramel, pine, grass and herbal with hints of bitter citrus and mixed berries. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall this was pretty good, but the malts seemed to take charge when it was supposed to showcase a single hop, which was a bit disappointing. However I did feel that this was the best of the four Single Hop Series that I tried. rayaron (1997) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - JUN 11, 2017
