Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Aroma is not massive, but is pleasantly hoppy, perhaps with some brick dust and tar/honey. Flavour is hop honey, with some flowers on the finish and piney/resin-y bitterness. This doesn’t feel particularly flavoursome or distinct, but I just find it very nice indeed.

backlog, shared with Pat in 2010, bought at Canals West Dep. Pours a murky orange golden with larger white head. Aroma of grapefruit, light vanilla, citrus, and pine. Strong bitterness in the close with a nice hoppy aftertaste. Baramba (1038) - ITALY - NOV 6, 2016

Draught. Orange in colour, nice white head. Aroma of pine, some oranges and herbs. In taste lightly sweet with very strong bitter finish, which is not pleasant, harsh and astringent, herbal-citrusy. Good start but bitterness profile ruins it. Fules (1230) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - JUL 31, 2016
Habja és színe a szokásos. Illata intenzív, tipikus apa-s. Íze fincsi, kesernyés, gyümölcsös, gyanta szinte semmi. Utóíze tartós, kesernyés, intenzív gyümölcsösséggel. Testes, de jól csúszó itóka.

Bottle. Muddy hazy orange colour with stable huge head off. Aroma of citus fruits, herbs. Taste is much more balanced like other single hop ales i have tasted. Lemons, pine, herbs, huge bitter finish. This beer shines, great alvaro78 (506) - Sevilla, SPAIN - MAR 8, 2016
Poco aroma a lúpulo para ser Ipa. Correcto color, transparencia y carbónatacion.
Sabor equilibrado con un final bastante seco

Bottle. Chestnut color, cloudy liquid, white head. Strawberry smell. Aroma of zest, earth, lemon. Very specific. Heavy bitter, light sour. Hoppy. Very good. Panzerfaust (849) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - JAN 26, 2016
330ml bottle from Gallagher’s Beer World/El Irlandés. Pours a dark amber color with a small off white airy head that disappears quickly leaving only isolate bubbles. Weird! Aroma is earthy, woody and mossy, with notes of overripe peach, goldenberry, bitter orange, grapefruit, mango and rosehip. A little bit messy and quite diluted with some pervasive phenolic hints. It might be a bad bottle though it says bbd: Feb 2017. Taste is moderately bitter with some accompanying tartness. Fruity flavors dominate with even semi-sweet touches. Tropical and overripe fruits, oranges and even tart apples with a continuing earthy aura. Clearly not in the best shape or maybe a bad batch. Medium body, soft carbonation. Really disappointing and mediocre. Tomahawk hops did not shine at all here. Must re-rate a fresher one. Gurthnar (5871) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 21, 2016
Bottle from 100 piv. Interesting and much better than I would expect of Tomahawk single hop. Solid malty backbone and intense resiny zesty citrusy hops flavours. Sessionable, tasty.
