3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured into a tulip glass. Deep amber color with three fingers of head. Excessive and overflowing head.
Smells like overripe grapefruit and lemon... a little honeycomb. A muted smell overall, no sharp or dominant smells.
A good bitter taste, solid at first and then gives a little to the malt, but finishes strong. Lasting bitterness.
Medium body, low to moderate carbonation.
I like the idea of Mikkeller’s single hop beers to showcase each hop variety. Points for that. This particular one had a poor appearance but the rest was good. The Warrior has a great taste by itself, which makes this an enjoying drink.
Backlog, Bottle with Pat, Pours a reddish orange shade with medium to larger fluffy head. Aroma and flavor of cardboard, lemon ctirus, grapefruit, blossom honey, and other pine hoppy notes. Medium to full bodied with a pleasant hop bitterness in the finish. RickFifty (1254) - Fredrikstad, NORWAY - OCT 29, 2016
Amber color, huge creamy off-white to golden head. Malty nose, caramel, grass, floral, fruity notes. Grass taste, malty, ripe fruit, hint of grapefruit, moderate bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. brnandersen (3901) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 28, 2016
33 cl bottle poured in to a Tulip. BBE March 2017, so not a fresh bottle. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma with citrus fruits, grasses, a mild, herbal note from the hops. Pines and lightly toasted notes. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes lasting dry and bitter with citrus fruits and pines. Nice IPA, that had kept the flavour well. Dandm (125) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 18, 2016
Old bottle from 2012. Clean deep red pour. Sweet citrus smell. Very bitter. Considerably dank. Some toast and coffee. Clean bitter finish. This one sticks around if you want to wait. Though it’s likely better fresh. ABS (1060) - Stokke, NORWAY - JUL 10, 2016
Bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Best before 11/03/17. Hazy copper colour. Medium sized, frothy, white head. Quite malt heavy. Malt, caramel, hay, grass flavour. Some grapefruit and resin. Bitter. Medium body and carbonation. A bit grainy.

0,33 bottle ordered from Csakajosor. Poured into an IPA glass.
Very nice head with extremely good retention,
Scent of citrus, especially grapefruitpeel. Malty sweetness hides in the background
Taste of melon and citrus fruits with dominant hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste.
I liked this brew i would highly recommend it to a friend. Fules (1225) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - JUN 17, 2016
Színe és habja a szokásos. Illata kevésbé intenzív, viszont finom gyümölcsös és nyoma sincs gyantának. Íze a belga apátságiakra hajaz, de markánsabb, ipás keserűvel. Icipici gyantát azért érezni, de nem zavaró. Friss, virágos, gyümölcsös aromák. Utóíze markáns, hosszan tartó keserű, némi gyümölcsösséggel.

330 ml bottle. Hazy dark orange colour with stable huge head. Aroma of citrus fruits. Taste of grapefruits, lime, pine. Caramel sweetness. Moderate carbonation. Bitter aftertaste. Lovely haukur (1957) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - MAY 5, 2016
backlog. Orange amber, aroma is very tropical, pineapple, passionfruit with slight pine notes. Long bitter finish, one of the better Mikkeller single hop IPA´s. Gurthnar (5865) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - FEB 19, 2016
Bottle at DvaDve. Clear orange colour. Resiny citrusy zesty with orange notes. Resemblant of Amarillo to me. Seriously okay hops. I like the overall balance of the beer as well. Moderate caramel backbone behind the high bitterness.
