rekvium (426) - Odense C, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2015
From tap. Pours black with an off white head. Aroma of light roasted malts, fresh citrus forward hops, seems very clean, very light hint of licorice. Taste is licorice, very slight soy, citrus fruits, floral, roasted notes. Light sweet finish, no signs of the 7,3%.

Pours dark brown with a thick head. Aroma is chocolate, hops and toffee.Taste is chocolate, licorice, hops and toffee.
Black IPA is really not one of my favourite styles but this one was pretty good.

Sebilinz (2676) - Linz, AUSTRIA - NOV 13, 2015
Bottle. Dark brown nearly black body with tan head. Aroma is roasted malts with honey and caramel. Taste is also roasted malts with caramel and honey. Palate is a little bit thin. Aftertaste is malty sweetness with roasted malts bitterness. Was expecting more.

Brewhemia (321) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2015
Deep brown almost black. Very little head, almost none. Very nice pineapple and apricot aroma with a faint hint of burnt toast. Roasty flavors up front but fruitiness takes over and ends in bitterness. Nice! Low carbonation, but it seems appropriate. I really like it!

Gerbeer (4075) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 4, 2015
11.2 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with full head. Aromas of crushed pine needles, chocolate and roasted malts. Flavors of same with emphasis on bitter pine and citrus. A bit thin even for the style. A good iteration but expecting a bit more from Mikkeller.

BlazerT (1281) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - AUG 27, 2015
Bottle. Sensoric. Deep black with big, beige head. Good lacing and medicore head retention. Nice roasted malts aroma - some coffe, dark fruits, mild coffee, some rasins. Also light to medium citric hoppy aroma. Taste is medium bitter, slightly sour with bitter ending. Medium body, creamy/oily texture, average carbonation, finish is medium bitter and semi-long. Slightly alcohol warming. In general very nice black IPA, the perfect balance between roasted malts and used hops, highly drinkable.
