Hazy golden color with white head. Nice bretty cherry, basement moldy aromas. medium body. Mild to medium sour cherry flavors with aspirin, bandaids, wet wood--good Hammy78 (975) - Dundas, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 11, 2012
Bottle purchased at West Lakeview Liquors in Chicago. Pours a hazy golden/ copperish colour, with a pretty active white head that leaves walls of lacing that really just cling to the walls and layer of head. Nose is fruity, sweet/ sour and barnyard like. Surprisingly clean smelling though, fresh. Tastes sour, but more tart. There is a woodiness to the aftertaste. Definitely fruit initially, I’m going to say Lychee, but it’s been some time since I’ve had one. I haven’t had a sour in some time, and I’m not well versed in them, but after this, I’m going to have more. brokensail (16648) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 20, 2012
Pours a clear golden color with a tall white head. Some fruitiness on the nose, though nothing that overtly states lychee. Slight sweetness, some orange and grapefruit, and a bit of lemon. As it warms, a touch of lychee. Light straw and oak to the nose as well. The flavor is a blend of tartness and sweetness. Some mild funk notes of straw, grass, and must. Some lychee, grapefruit, and lemon peel tartness. Good, but not amazing. pineypower (3346) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - AUG 12, 2012
Bottle shared thanks to Dmac. Pours out a moderate copper color with a small off white head. Aroma is of light funk, sweet fruit and lots of floral notes. Taste is of some mild tart notes, flowers, light sweet fruits. Was looking for a lot more tartness, and I honestly have no idea what a lychee tastes like so I’m assuming some of the things I tasted was that. dmac (6471) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - AUG 11, 2012
750 ml bottle via trade. Poured a hazy orangey amber with a smaller foamy dense white head. Aroma of sur fruit, lemons, barnyard, and some acidic funk. Thinner bodied with softer carbonation, a slight touch of sourness halfway through, finishes softer and dry. Flavor of wet wood, dry saw dust, fruit skins, touch of acidity. Meh it’s okay but with a name like Sour Bitch I was expecting far more sour.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of oak barrels, tart lychee, sour apples. Flavour of tart fruits, with the lychee most noticeable, the oak barrels with a lot of prominence, and sour apples in the background. Quite leathery and gueuze-like. Excellent lambic bordering a fruit and a gueuze. illidurit (2458) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 27, 2012
Bottle on the RBSG 2012 bus. Pours a murky brownish gold. Aroma of summer stone fruit with old mealy apricots. Flavor is similar, turning malty partway through each sip. Sickly sweet with a mild tartness and some acidity. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 25, 2012
750mL shared on the RBSG bus. Low haze golden pour. Spotty lace. Nose is very fresh grapefruit, funky feet, grapefruit rind, major sweat and funk. Very similar to Drie Fonteinen nose- wouldn’t be surprised if this was brewed with a culture from 3F. Taste is a little bit harsh and butyric, shapr, leathery, no acetic acid. Leathery, aerated, potpourri. Lemon and orange acid, tartaric acid/sweet tarts. Very dry. Would be a total knockout if not for that harsh butyric acid. Bottled at RBSG 2012. Nice funky acid nose, fruity, not exactly lychee. Deep bronze with lace. Nicely sour flavor, good barnyard, funky, creamy yogurt. Good stuff. Very fruity but it’s not clearly lychee.
