This beer would pair really nicely with a summer salad, or reduced might make a tasty salad dressing. It poured cloudy with the appearance of a glass of V-8 Splash. It had a slight odor of nail polish remover, which also carried over into the taste, detracting from the fullness of the flavor of tart candied cherries. 50belair (3643) - Florida, USA - JUL 17, 2010
Thanks to hopscotch for coming through with some euro specials. This danish gem poured up a a cloudy reddish color with a massive cherry nose. I mean really this is maybe the most aromatic beer I have had the pleasure of dippin my beak in. The taste was acidic and tart with cherry, vanilla, funk, and vinegar runnin the show. Great beer........ Marthinus (276) - DENMARK - JUL 15, 2010
red amberlike with a small off-white head. Aroma is more simpel tnan taste with some slight cherries. Nice mouthfeel. Flavour is so intense balanced between the sour element at the many dimensions of cherrie. saxo (18302) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2010
Bottle from Fairbar. Medium head with medium duration. Color is reddish amber. Aroma and taste are rich cherry, sour lactose acid, earthy and cheesy. Quite wonderful. tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - JUL 14, 2010
25 cl bottle, bought at Ølbutikken by my neighbour Kjetil, thanks for sharing. Amber reddish color, nice off-white/pink head. Aroma is lots of cherry and oak. Flavor is cherries, sourness, oak, medium sweetness. Fine carbonation. Lovely fruity, long mouthfeel. Fantastic!

30-JUN-2010, bottle on vacation @Tranum, from "Ølbutikken".
Giant bobbles that dissappear quickly. Murky red/brown.
Sour nose with some barnyard and (off course!) cherries.
Cherries not overdone, but making it fresh.
Not alcoholic with long sour cherry aftertaste.
I may start to like sours? daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 1, 2010
Reddish pour, fading head. Dark tart cherries with a dry bready malt. Flavor is tart, lightly dry and light malts round out a nice brew. Not overly sour, but nice and tart. madsberg (11770) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2010
Bottled. Dark amber/reddish coloured. Unclear. Small beige fluffy head, which disappears very fast. Aroma of sour cherries, marzipan, vanilla, spice and tart. Flavour of yeast, sourness, cherries, wood, tart, grape. Medium to full bodied. Dry sour cherries in th end. Very nice. JorisPPattyn (10002) - Ursel, BELGIUM - JUN 25, 2010
Head gone in the blink of an eye; hazy foxy-ruby beer, big bubbled on the glass. Sharp sourish nose with acetic & lactic acids, and fruitesters, krieken. Very fresh sour cherries flavour, soem fruit- and yeastesters, some fruitsugars at the finish all the same. Burning fruit- (and other)acids, astringent, even. There is a bit of Cantillon in there, indeed. It’s nice, honest fruit, but it is also a bit... sought. thewolf (12597) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUN 24, 2010
Bottle, bought @ Kihoskh, Cph.
Pours relatively red amber with a small, creamy, off-white/pink head. Aroma is tart, lots of funkiness, some slight cherries, lots of oak, a tad medicinal in character. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel, where the lively small bubbles dance on my tongue. Flavour is really nice, there is loads of oak character, slightly medicinal, yeah, but I really like it. Cherries, fair tartness, dry, a peppery feel to the tartness. In the aftertaste, the fruitiness takes on a slight nutty/chocolate feel (like KRE). Very nice... too bad that Denmark’s crashing out of the World Cup.
