UPDATED: JAN 27, 2016 Cloudy dark ruby color, pale red head but fast disappear. Aroma is funky, barnyard, young blackcurrant, lemon, leather. Taste is medium sour, funky, tart, blackcurrant, lemon, grapes, some wine vinegar. Tart and lemon aftertaste. One of best mikkeller sontan series beer. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - APR 8, 2015
Bottle: Muddy, crimson-tinted copper body, nearly opaque except for the very edges with a moderately lavender tinted head that fades quickly. Aroma is full of huge, juicy berries & red grape. Almost like a Welch’s grape juice with a mild berry & currant undertone. More tartness, too. Slight bit of vinegar on the nose. Ripping tart flavor. Nicely tannic, lots of oak, semi-vinous grape, tart & underripe currant, & some sour berries. Little bit of lemon & faint lactic acid. The acetic character picks up near the finish, lingering with tart berry skins, oak, vinegar, prune, & lemon. Sour, super dry finish. Another nice installment from the Mikkeller Spontan- series. tdtm82 (1701) - Essex, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2015
Bottle; thanks to madmitch76
Prominent notes of cherries; lactose; vineager; aggressive puckering. A lot of sourt tart. Finish is fruity but also dry. It’s lip-smacking and then some! It’s a very assertive sour beer. Very aggressive. Could be aged a bit longer and rounded off better. Good.

Pours purple-red, hazy, white head. Aroma typical of bret yeast: horseblanket, sour fruit, slight acidity. In taste it’s seriously sour, very clean acidity, nicely refreshing. Hints of fruitiness in the aftertaste. Nice. kermis (14955) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 15, 2015
