An outstanding sour fruit beer enjoyed at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen. Sour and Cassis flavors blend perfectly together in this masterpiece. My favorite beer yet from Mikkeller.

Uno dei capolavori della linea fermentazione spontanea di Mikkeller, con intensissime note di frutta scura, ribes, che sollevano sensazioni acerbe e leggermente aspre che si fondono alla perfezione con l’acidità avvolgente e persistente. Birra divina!!

Bottle shared with friends. Another brewer that really has the sour/lambic style down to a science. Everything about this beer is incredible: great sourness, tartness and fruit flavors. They’re all there. Incredible.

At home, 2015 bottle (37.5cl) Pour: beautiful intense dark red, low carbonation. Smell: Blackcurrant, fruits, sweet, jello. Tastes - First: sweet summer fruits; mids: acidic, sourness; after: intense sourness, currant remains as the rest fades. Verdict: High sourness, well-balanced sweetness and fruitiness. Very nice!

Half champagne bottle. Elegancja pelna ciemnych owocow zarowno w smaku jak i zapachu. Piwo zdominowane jest soczystoscia i cierpkoscia owocowL jezyn, jagod, borowki, czerwonych winogron i dzikiej czarnej porzeczki. Tej porzeczki bylo w smaku najwiecej. Kwaskowe i szalenie wytrawne, rozowiutka czerwona barwa metnistosc spora, przylepiona do dna niczym sylikony do piersi Pameli Anderson z racji sporego czasu jakie spedzil ten lambick w mojej piwniczce. Super alternatywa dla szlachetnych i wytrawnych win czerwonych.

Trevlig fat och bärdoft. Extremt syrlig med stora solbärtoner (svarta vinbär) Fantastisk trevlig eftersmak som är fruktig och sträv som tusan

Bottle into a tulip. Pours a deep ruby, with a medium pink head that persists. Good lacing. Nose is sour cherries and a hint of brett funk. Taste is moderately tart cherry, with a very subtle cassis undertone. The funk is not strong but present nonetheless. Creamy mouth feel, with a lingering finish. Very nice sour lambic.

[email protected] Hoppy Loft – I picked the Mikkeller snifter as my glass – dark rhubarb/pomegranate colour with a light pink head, smell: I am mostly picking up acidic grape skins but if I know what I am looking for, I can pick up some fresh cassis in the background, not sure if I would find if I didn’t know what to look for & acid lemon, sour, taste is harsher than you would expect given the smell, very harshly acidic with plenty of lemon acid, some minor wood, light brett, barnyard funk, sour/acidic berries (plus grapes & minor cassis), very light bitter aftertaste follows a while after the sip, great stuff, taste-wise as far as I am concerned this is a real lambic
