UPDATED: MAR 24, 2013 37.5 cl bottle @ Mikkeller & Friends. Pours dark red, almost brown/black with a huge dense red to purple head. Aroma is dense cherry to almondish. Mild citric and sweet solid cherry flavoured. Interesting break of the sweet cherry wine with acidic base of the lambic. Despite the abv, this almost seems a bit light bodied, yet elegant. Smooth fruity, balanced sweet and citric, lasting dense cherry fruity finish.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy burgundy colour, small pink head. Buttery nose with plenty of ripe cherries. Lightly tart with underlying sweetness. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Slight citric tartness, some tin and syrup. Nice cherry flavour, but nothing else is really very pleasant. Compares highly infavourably to traditional lambics, yet sells at way above top end price.

Opaque dark purple beer with a tidy mauve head! Palate is minerally crisp. Rich cherry juice, lesser blackberry and blackcurrant. Seltzer minerals. Crisp finish. Tasty!
